[QUOTE="SmashBrosLegend"]Abandoning a company because of mistakes is not loyalty. Brand name loyalty does not exist in the mass market. That's why Sega, Nintendo, and Atari are in their current positions, and it is also why the PS3 is currently experiencing slower-than-expected sales.
the-very-best
I kinda agree. I think it exists to a certain degree. If consumers are happy with products from a certain brand that may translate into them looking into that brand again for the next product.
PS3 is experiencing slow sales due to the price. In any case, why would PS2 fans jump on board so soon when the PS2 just got GOW2/FFXII and is getting Burnout: Dominator/Manhunt 2/GTA:VCS?
I agree. I haven't bought a next-gen console yet, and I probably won't until all three have a price drop. After having it for 5 years the ps2 has enough games to last me a while an there are some old games that I haven't got yet. I will buy a PS3 when the price drops, because my PS2 will last until then.
