now i wonder if microsoft is going to release a blu-ray player like they did with HD-DVD, two faced company if this trend continues, I would expect a blu-ray add-on for the 360 by the holiday season.

I don't think the elite will have much effect on MS. It will probably be out in limited numbers compared to premium systems, and I would assume they expect less people to be interested at the higher price. As for ps3, I see it dying the 3DO's death. For all the features it has, its just too much for people right now. I would buy a Ferrari if I could, but I just can't no matter how worth the money. I didn't read every word, but I assume you're going to say that ps3 vaporware will eventually kill the 360, much like ps2 did dreamcast? That won't happen, MS can afford more heavy losses and times of drought than SEGA or even Sony ever could.whoisryanmack
you do know sony's stock is worth 2x that of M$? and that sony is an expreinced electronics vendor, and movie maker? they own the rights to spiderman etc...they are worth more then M$ belive that
if you are talking about a slim ps3 like the "PStwo" then yes there will be a review of its hardware, but i doubts its by the end of this year, so you can go ahead and purchase your ps3
