I love how there's three comments about Project Zero 2 on the Wii not getting an international release. Hello, it was released in Australia and New Zealand on the same day as Japan, with Europe getting the it following day. Heck, even South Africa recieved it the other day. That sounds pretty international to me or is this another case of the whole world revolves around America and only they count as international?
Anyway, racial rankings aside, I finished the Wii edition of Project Zero 2 last weekend (since I live in Australia) and it was an amazing remake. I recommend that anyone who lives in the PAL territories to buy this game and send Nintendo this message. We want IPs outside Mario and Zelda. There's a reason why Nintendo has stuck to Mario and casual games. Because they're the only things that sell and make money. So buy these games (like Project Zero 2) and encourage new things and maturity in Nintendo's labs.
@SirNormanislost In many countries the 3DS is already the fastest selling game system of all time and it's even outsold the Vita, 10 to 1. So there is no need to bring out a Pokemon on the 3DS just yet, when they have so many killer titles in the pipeline. You've got to save your trump cards for when you need them, i.e Pokemon.
@AngelCage-2 No news about an international release? It was released in Australia and New Zealand on the same day as Japan and in Europe on the following day. Plus South Africa recieved a release of it, yesterday. How can you say there is no news on an international release, when half the globe is playing it?
Ok what about us PAL gamers? Yes Zen United and PQube have announced a localisation for PAL territories, but given their track record with Blazblue and Guilty Gear. I'm expecting many delays. I mean XX Accent Core Plus was released two full year after the USA version. So this region locking is BS I say. I can understand they want to prevent reverse importation for the Japanese market, but why couldn't they just lock it out just for Japan like they do with some DVDs and Blu-Rays.They better not pull this with Persona 4 Golden, because there isn't a PAL publisher attached to that title yet!!!
I can't believe those jokers are making yet another Rugby League game. We're like a weak house wife who keeps going back to her abusive husband. "Oh things will be different this time, he loves me. He didn't mean to hit me". And she goes back to him and it's the same trash. "I hit you, because I love you."
@ExplicitMike I jusrt checked the sales. Sorry it didn't bomb, my mistake. I just assume it didn't sell well because it was in bargain bins everywhere within a month or two. Maybe it sold really bad in Australia, but did better else where.
To all those people getting angry about the delay, have to remember that Sega is in trouble and Platnium Games' previous titles have bombed outside of Japan. The people to blame are the gamers who don't buy the quality titles that Platnium produces and instead buy millions of copies of trash like Duke Nukem Forever and Operation Raccoon City.
Instead of spending 20 minutes on that gimmicky Wonderbook, they could have downsized it's spotlight to less then 5 minutes and shown a lengthy montage of upcoming Vita games, like they've done with the PSP in past conferences.Or not shown the Wonderbook at all. Because why show a product marketed towards kids, when the conference is filled with demos of violent games and trailers that use the F-word.
