Yep I watch the three confrences and got the emblems for them plus I watched three days of E3 so I got the gold E3 emblem. Here are the emblems.

So I was pretty happy with the Sony conference. I thought there were alot of good games shown. Here are some of my favourite parts from sonys conference.

PS3 80 gig price drop

It is not the proper 80 gig PS3 but you get double the memory of the 40 gig. There is no backward compatibility but you can buy a PS2 the $200 you are saving. I'm kinda pissed because I bought my 40 Gig for the same price but I have half the memory of the new one.

Video download service

So this pretty much made the Xbox 360's look like crap to me. Sony has some great studio support from studios such as Sony, Fox, MGM, Lions Gate, Warner, Disney, Paramount, Turner and Funimation. I will most likely use this often because the only place that I can rent movies from in kilkenny is too far away from where I live.

PS3 Greatest Hits

Everyone knew this was coming but when? Today it was announced that the PS3 will be getting Greatest Hits titles that will cost around $29.99. Games such as Motorstorm, Resistance, Warhawk, Assassins creed and Oblivion(plus more). The cases look pretty cool too.

Resistance on the PSP

This looks very tempting. I glad that this isn't an FPS because they aren't very good in my oppinion but I thought it would have looked better if it was like Killzone on the PSP. But still it looks very good. Graphics looked pretty good it is being made by the people who make the syphon filter games. They were great games so I have high hopes for this game.

New PS3 exclusives

Its gow 3. Simple. Everyone knew it was coming and the trailer looked pretty good. The graphics looked awesome. I only ever played GOW: COO and I loved it. So I cannot wait for this one. Also LBP planet was shown. Plus inFAMOUS and the new MMO MAG. This looks awesome. 256 players online? Sounds good. I will buy this on day one. There were alsotrailers for Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2 and Killzone 2.

I think Microsoft announced some prttey cool things today. I don't really care about FFXIII not being a PS3 exclusive because the bottom line is that it is still coming to the PS3. I personally think that the old Xbox 360 dashboard is better than the new Xbox experience. Avatars were Nintendo's idea. So anyway tomorrow I want sony to show:

* Downloadable PS2 games for 40 gig PS3 owners

* A God Of War 3 announcment

* A home release date for summer 2008

* Exclusive DLC for Resi 5

* New PSP hardware

* Killzone 2 news and videos

* New exclusive games

* Maybe a new controller

* A gran turismo 5 release date.

* PSN cards (I don't have a credit card)

* LBP news and videos

* A ton of old games that will get trophy support

* And of course an Uncharted 2 announcment

Yep and this time I know I have the best gamestop in the world. I went down today with my PS3. I bought this 2 months ago pre-owned from gamestop. When I brought it back I told the person behind the counter that I had bought it pre-owned and he said well I will give you a brand new one anyway. He also gave me a boof of vouchers. The only bad thing is that I lost all my photos, music and videos. I saved my game saves to my PSP though. Oh and I got a loan of Battlefield off one of my mates today and I have to say that I think it is great. I was thinking of buying it. But its €70 in Ireland so I might wait to get a pre-owned copy.

So I was just in town seeing what the story was with my PS3(read blog below). And they said they would give me a replacement one even though I didn't have a receipt. At first they were likesorry theres nothing we can do" but then the manager came and said did I know what date I bought it on and I was like may 18. And he printed me out a new receipt and said to bring back the broken one and they would give me a new one. :)

So my PS3 won't read any discs. So I have to either send it off to sony or I can try get a replacement one from gamestop seein as I only bought it 2 months ago. I am going down town today to see whats the story with it. Goodbye playstation.

Ok so I haven't been in a bloggy mood lately because there is so much going on in my life. But things are calming down now so I to write a short blog. So anyway in like the last 2 week I have gotten 2 new games and a dualshock 3. The two games I got were resistance and Uncharted. I'm not that keen on Resistance but uncharted is great. I haven't got to play uncharted that much but from what I have seen I like it. Although GTA IV stays in my PS3 most of the time. Oh and also I got the 2.40 update which I think is great. I might not be able to listen to music while in games but at least I can talk to my friends while playing games. Theres not that many games that have trophies. I know uncharted is getting them but I don't know about GTA IV. I have already e-mailed Rockstar wondering will they be in the game but I have got no reply. So anyway thats it. I'll probably write another blog soon.

Well I got GTA IV again. This time for the PS3. Seeing as I had this on the 360 but I sold my 360 I decided to get it for the PS3. I mainly got it for online because all of my friends have it and they do be playing it. So thats it and heres is a picture of it.... yeah.

Well I finished MGS4 today and I wrote a review for it. You should give it a read if you have time. It is my first PS3 review and my first review that got a rating of 10.
