Ridiculous. I knowe I'll sound like a 360 fanboy, but are minor visual glitches really bad enough to get you up to an entire point taken off (9.5 to 8.5)? I mean seriously, a 9.5 is a HUGE difference to an 8.5.thequietguy
If he feels that it makes the game slightly less engaging or any other reason, he's entitled to make the call.
I think disregarding the review is a little OTT.
Yeah, it's his call, and his call sucked, especially considering the PS3 version has framerate issues that the 360 doesn't. There's a huge difference between 8.5 and 9.0. If the visual difference between the two versions is really THAT great, enough that it deserves a .5 loss, don't you think at least one other review would have mentioned it? The guy screwed up, plain and simple.
That's the smallest denomination that could be given, as obviously they're not working on the old .1 increment system. If he feels that the difference was worth it, then he's obviously going to give that score. It's still a great score none-the-less.
not to mention the load times on the 360 version are horrid, frequent, and game breaking.
forza 3 is a casual fans racer, its easy to pick up and uses plenty of "coding cheats" to make the game feel better but breaks laws of physics and realism in doing so. which is why its an over rated mediocore everyday racer.
