The trailer makes me want to buy it. On top of good combat, I like games with a good story, and lots of emotion and this trailer certainly makes it out that this game has everything that I want. Oh.... wait.... It's dead island.... I think i'll wait for the review and then decide whether it's worth my time.

I play loads of violent video games and it really doesnt bother me. Depending on the game itself; violence can definitely add to the experience. Most story driven games just wouldnt be the same without it. Games have a certificate on them for a reason so kids shouldnt be playing seriously violent games as it is. People really should stop blaming the gamers and gaming industry as a whole, playing violent games certainly has not made me an angry person and it can be a fantastic outlet for my frustration or a great distraction when i've had a bad day. I think that all of this boils down to bad parenting and there not being enough measures in place to stop kids getting their hands on adult games. More should be done and if giving out fines is going to make retailers ask for ID more often then I think it's a good idea as long as it doesnt get out of hand.

Let the developers put whatever they want in their games as the gaming community will obviously decide what they think is acceptable by purchasing a game or not, through reviews and being vocal. Developers will naturally adapt to that. Games are only really getting better and needless violence that doesnt add anything to the experience will probably diminish over time.

I want dinosaurs on Indar. The threat of being eaten by a T-Rex or dive bombed by a pterodactyl would be awesome.

Just really terrible marketing. I can understand that some guys or kids might think it's cool but they have essentially just made a collectors edition for them. I very much doubt that any girl would buy it and I'm sure that most guys would just not see the point. Who would honestly want that on display for friends and family to see. When I first saw it and even looking at it now all I think is 'Oh Christ, just why? What was point that they were trying to make here?'

The game is awesome, I think these guys are mad. I've found it exciting and unbelievably addictive. The 8 score is spot on.

If Microsoft is clever they wont have this for the new Xbox, I imagine that Sony would loose a lot of customers over it. To think I would never have bought Gears of war 2 and 3 or pre-ordered judgement if I hadn't picked up the first one second hand. That would have been very sad, but then I wouldn't have known any better :(
