Demo is sick and I'm pumped, but I was unimpressed with the anti aliasing while it showed the car spinning around. To me I saw jaggies along the front where it meets the hood, the side where the window is and along the back and roof of the car. So it surprises me to hear this is the technique that was used.
Art looks great, but ill wait for some reviews before allowing myself to get hyped. GG is yet to impress me at all.
Killzone is overrated in my eyes and it isn't really that highly regarded in the gaming industry. They make pretty games with iffy controls and horribly boring stories. Please prove me wrong GG, I really want you to make me eat my words.
The lack of atmosphere killed the game for me. After what they built with Halo, how could Bungie see this as what their fans would want? The controls are top notch, but the world never does anything to make you want to investigate it more. The loot system is a joke and bosses are bullet sponges and nothing more. I expected so much more from one of my most respected developers.
I see it being timed. Dead rising 3 launched exclusively on xbox one, pvz gw was launched exclusively on xbox, ryse launched exclusively on x1, they are saying it will launch exclusively on xbox. If it doesn't sell well, I see it going to pc and ps4 as a definitive edition. I'm good either way cause I own both, but I don't buy it.
No paradox on the list is an instant fail. Every one of those is very casual in comparison to paradox. Out of those I would say Blizzard for the original sc+broodwar with relic and company of heroes 1 right beside it. Unfortunately the sequels weren't nearly as good.
I'd like to see them expand on the dc universe and not just focus on batman. There are so many characters in the DC roster worth digging into. Cassandra kain Batgirl, wonder woman, superman, green lantern, red lanterns, aquaman, and of course, animal man. Just make the games connect within the universe and people will get interested.
Now somebody give me a marvel game with arkham production values.
