I've worked as a college instructor, and had several women come to my office and say - unprompted - that they'd "do anything for an A," while making seductive gestures. I value academic integrity enough to have ignored the coercion, and would have no problem with any instructor that doesn't being taken down, but I would have a problem with the student being celebrated as a brave hero for speaking out.
Such behavior should itself be considered sexual harassment, and I have no doubt that the same goes on in many other industries where people are desperate for success.
@rawkstar007: "High school" is a great descriptor that I also realized not-too-long ago. A lot of checkmarks' behavior is identical to "popular kids" vying for position.
