We should also include handhelds too, since you know they shouldn't be left out. This is system wars, after all.

It's your battery pack, buy a Play and Charge kit for 20$ and you'll be fine. I've had two controllers do that to me, cause my sister dropped it on the floor and messed up the battery pack.

[QUOTE="roflumadkid"][QUOTE="SolidTy"]I've been boycotting them since 2008, man, they just don't give up.

If an awesome, must have Activision game comes down the pike, I will buy it used. But that hasn't really happened yet, I got MW2 used last year though, to ensure ACTI got no monies from me.

When the heck are they (IW) going to add online co-op, or at least local co-op for COD?

It's Treyarch anyways, so even if I wasn't boycotting ACTI, I wouldn't buy them...I didn't like Treyarch's COD3 nor did I like COD5:W@W. So, it's pretty easy for me to avoid this Treyarch "generic every other year " COD game this year.SolidTy

Um.

I should have been more specific, I don't care about Treyarch at all, IW's COD games are the only ones I like...but I do own every single COD game to date.

If this game does better than I expect it too (critically, or at least with my friends), I will buy it...USED. ;) Boycott still in effect.:P

No I only quoted you because you said it didn't have co-op, it does with Special Ops in mw2. Online and Offline.

No way. A lame zombie mode makes it less appealing if anything.Guppy507
What? More content makes it less appealing? Nice logic.

If they didn't include those extra maps/modes, I am sure that many of you would be sitting here and complaining that the special editions didn't include enough content to justify the purchase. =P

Activision and Treyarch will most likely release those maps/modes for DLC a couple of months after the game is released. If they do that (which I am sure they will) it will ensure that people will a) buy the special editions of Black Ops and b) continue playing it a few months down the road. It's a smart business tactic and I can totally see it destroying any chances of a successful boycott by several forumites on System Wars.

Sky-
It isn't a mode. It's just maps, just like when you pre-ordered Transformers: WFC, you got an extra character, and the character was released later through DLC.

No, they mean that the people that get the Special Editions will get 4 extra maps.. Similar to how people that reserved Transformers:WFC got an extra character that was released later through DLC, same thing excepts it's maps this time.

[QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"][QUOTE="SolidTy"]

I am not supporting ACTI, and I am not a fan of Treyarch. W@W was very, very disappointing for me.

I'll keep my eye out on the Metascore, and see if this one surprises me...but I lost faith in Treyarch. I wish they would go back to Spidey games.

If MW2's metascore is anything to go by then you can't tust COD metascores.

Please. MW2 was a great game, the only thing wrong was Infinity Wards lack of updates/fixes on it's mulitplayer. Otherwise it was a great game. The review scores were pretty spot on when they first played the game, cause everyone was still figuring it out and nobody was sitting in a corner abusing OMA/Noobtubes or running around with Commando Pro and Tac Knife. I know it's cool to hate CoD here though.

Gawd do people hate COD here. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent on Zombies... this seals the deal for me.

It's cool to hate CoD here. Anyway I'll be getting the prestige edition, and legendary edition of halo.

Vgchartz isn't reliable at all, they basically guess the amount of pre-orders/sells a game has. Anyway on another forum I read someone that works for Gamestop says Black Ops has more pre-orders then Halo Reach. That's gamestop only though, not walmart, or online pre-ordering sites.
