Like I said I can build a kick ass comp. for $200-$500 less than most pre-build.well do you want it already made or do you want to build it here's some pros and cons for each
building pros cons
- cheaper - have to know something about computers
- get better parts - problems do occur often when building
- know alot more about your computer- each part has a warrenty vs the whole computer
pre-builtprocon
- you get something that you knows going to work - cost about $100-$150 more
- dont' have to spend time researching and messsing with it - most support lines aren't very good

GH is an addictive game, but i agree that it would be tough to pull it out on the DS... I am sure they will sell tons of copies, but in order for it to have success it will have to be in a completely different format than the original. I will definitely be curious to check it out when it is released, but i will not be buying it until i hear good things first.kcweezkidyou kno you me and like 4 other ppl. on this board are the only ones who are actulay want to have this game to come out. or just care about it.

LOL .raped!ok I gota say that the oringinator of this ropic and the first 3 ppl. to replay are wrong about the way video games affect your vision. First of all Computer screens are the biggest reason for near sightnes. Cuz any screen over 16" can start to impair your vision because if your at the avarage distance from the screen (.5'-2') then most of the screen is out of your field of vision and it cauese your eyes (specialy yout pulpal muscules) to strain wich starts too make you have impaired vision. now when I say impaired vision I mean stuff like near of far sightness. now as a 15 yaer old im near sighted because When I was 4 years old I used to play computer games (you kno those reading and math games. and tonka games as well) occationaly for about 2 years, wat I didn't kno at the time was that I was playing on a 17" screen so I was already starting to impair my vision. 2 years later in 2st grade I needed classes but I some how regain vision after not wearing them. Now I use a 15" screen w/ a resolution of 1024x768 (which isn't to bad for gaming at leat I can play most of my games maxed at that reolution), down-grading from a 19". Second of all portable gaimng devices like to DS,GBA anD even the PSP don't even come close to affecting your vision. because the screen is in your feild of view, like I said any screen over 15" affects you vision. but you might be thinking "your much closer to a portable screen", well thats the cass but wat your not contious about is that when you play a portable you can see the screen plus the device its sefl and your back round. go ahead try it. Since portable screens are way more than in your field of vision, your eys are almost completly relaxed the whol entire time you playing a game. On more ting (this is it) LCDs are way more easyer on your eyes than CRTs. I don't exatly kno why but it's wat my uncle told me. Also when your playing games on a TV, as long as your not ,more than 2' awy from the screen then your fine as long as you can see the TV and then some of the back round (that appies for ppl. with TVs from 24" to 72") now for ppl. who are wondering how I kno all this it's becase my uncle is a sub-profesional eye specialest in Vermont, and he does my cheak-ups and S@#t like that, so he talked w/ me about stiff like that.[QUOTE="rogeliozim"][QUOTE="kornholio360"]Nope, and I've been playing handhelds for a while now.umbracascade
well that's funny because I had a gba before i had a pc and i didnt have a pc for like until 2 years later
And?The DS may be more powerfull overall, but the textures are so low res it is almost disgusting. It is for this reason that I think some n64 games look so much better than the DS. Of course their is always mini-mapping (I hope that is the right term^_^), where they break detailed textures into smaller ones, like in bad fur day.fiscopehave you played Metroid prime hunters? cuz there are some pretty awesome 32-bit textures in that game. most DS games have 16-bit textures, I guess it's to save RAM in the DS and memory on the game card. and yes there are some games w/ crapy textures and it look like s***. But not always.
If you guys remember (the Nintendo Power Magazine stated) that Super Mario 64 only used 60% of the processing power of the Nintendo 64. So of course the Nintendo DS could handle the Super Mario 64 DS. Also keep in mind that do to advances in programing technique's that we are able program far more efficiently then the Nintendo 64 heyday. Thus creating more realistic graphics without taking a huge hit on the system that is being used.Kbs64ya thats a good point. Thats probly why devlopers can make games w/ better gfx and online capablities, using a littel more processing power than the N64.
