It's true - Bungie said it on their latest FAQ about the new maps. I personally think this is totally unfair - My son plays the game all the time and is exited about these new upcoming maps, but he (and I) wont be able to get them beacuse the account is a child account. I paid for the game, and I think I should be able to play DLC for it also.
However, I think I've found a work-around. When I got Halo 3, it came with that "48 hour free gold subscription card", right? well If I make a new account, sign up for gold with that card, and put in my age ( which is over 18 ), wouldn't I be able to download these new maps if only for 48 hours?

$10 is a lot to waste if you can only play them for 48 hrs. I like the new rule, it keeps the youngins out of playing games that they have no business playing. Games are rated for a reason people.
