Keep in mind if you plan to transfer saved data from your current one to external HDD, that any external HDD over 250GB needs it's own power supply.

And depending on what you plan to use it for 1TB might be overkill.

EDIT:

From umart there are few 1TB hard drives however the one from Western Digital is $150 and has a speed of 5400 RPM.

So it might be a bit slower compared to if you went with a 500 or 750 GB that has 7200RPM.
