@mannyc5: There's only one game I want to play on the Switch. And that is Super Mario Odyssey. I can't justify ever buying a console for just one game. I here Zelda is also very good, but it's 30FPS, so playing it isn't even an option for me.
@gotrekfabian: If you've managed to avoid the spoilers, then boy oh boy, are you going to be in for a surprise. I almost can't even believe what I've heard. Makes me think maybe it's not even true. But I guess we'll all find out soon enough. It'll be a videogame first, that's for sure.
@gorkon5567: Smart move. Plus all the games will be significantly reduced in price. I wish I had waited to buy my PS4, because I bought my PS4 just a few weeks before Sony announced the PS4 Pro. I felt so cheated at the time. I never expected consoles to do that. They never had in the past. But since Sony pulled that greedy move, I'm now rooting for XBOX to win the next-gen console wars. And am very pleased to hear that the next XBOX will be more powerful than the PS5.
You know what the means, right? Yup. It means Sony will come out with a PS5 Pro in a few years from now. So unless you have money to throw away, it's better to just wait for the PS5 Pro. Basically do what you do, and buy it at the end of the generation.
@gamerbum: The gameplay in UC4 was actually worse than the previous Uncharted games. The whole stealth mechanic they tacked on seemed to ruin it for me. Felt cheap deliberately having to make noise just to get the enemy to fight. And there wasn't nearly enough action. There were entire chapters with no shooting at all. Game was a huge disappointment for me. But I loved UC2 and UC3. UC1 was just okay. Much like how I felt about "The Last of Us."
@gamerbum: What would really be amazing is if they could make all the older games run at 60FPS. I think I would even go back and play the first Red Dead Redemption, just to see what it would look like running at 60FPS. I remember it choppy as all hell on the old XBOX 360.
@kintoneo: You couldn't pay me to go back and play that disaster of a game. It took me over one year just to finish it. I had to play in installments. I would play for 10 minutes, then watch an hour long cut-scene, and then quite out of boredom. And even if you can look past the boring cutscenes, the gameplay also sucked.
@asultana121x: Old games look like they're brand new? That's really cool. If we can go back and play almost all the XBOXONE and 360 games with improved performance, that's a huge plus in my book. Last gen I picked Playstation, this upcoming gen, I think I'm going for the XBOX.
@VGjunkie87: If all the games will be running at 60FPS, then it's just as good as a computer. And a lot cheaper. The only reason I'm gaming on a PC today, is because I got sick and tired of playing shitty 30FPS games. I want to go back to console gaming. Too many bugs in PC gaming. And I hate having to tinker around in the options just to get the game to run smooth.
@bababooey12: 1TB would be more than enough space for me. I generally only play one game at a time, and when I'm done, I delete it any never play it again.
