@santinegrete: That's a good idea, and I think it should be implemented, but there is one problem, and that is in multiplayer mode, the mouse and keyboard guys would dominate the gamepad guys. So the gamepad guys would end up leaving in droves out of frustration. Which means Microsoft would lose tons of XBOX Live subscriptions.
Although one solution for this is the XBOX could detect exactly who is using a mouse and keyboard, and only match them against other mouse and keyboard guys in multiplayer.
120FPS??? Wow!!!! I've never even played a game over 60FPS in my entire life. I don't even know what 120FPS would look like? But it must be a thing of beauty.
Besides a new XBOX, it looks like I'm also going to have to buy a new TV, because my current TV only has a 60 Hz refresh rate.
@jsprunk: Normally I would agree with you, but DOOM is one of those rare games that runs at 60FPS on all the consoles "except" the Switch. There's nothing wrong with console gaming if you're playing at 60FPS.
@lion2447: Totally agree. Another thing I liked about the PS3 was the ability to transfer video files from your network onto your PS3 hard drive. With the PS4 you can only stream video files from the computers on your home network. Or was this fixed? I wouldn't know, because I haven't even turned on my PS4 since about 3 years.
@emmanuelguerrero: If true, then that's the console I will be buying. But I'm going to wait at least year before I buy anything. I will buy the console with the best framerate. I hope it's the XBOX, because I hate the Playstation controller, especially for shooters.
@ksuttonjr76: The gaming industry depends on guys like you willing to pay full price for newly released games. That's where they make most of their money. If everyone was a penny-pinching cheapskate like me, the entire gaming industry would go out of business, and we'd be playing board games for entertainment.
