I never knew it lost any "steam" :0chcknbopper
I'm not sure if your just making fun of the expression orare really asking a question. In June,July and August the 360 wasn't selling a lot anymore. PS3 sold almost twice as much and since the PS3 never really sold a lot that was an incredible low number. Now they sell more then whatw as normal in 2006 - 2007.
It's better then other side quest planets but no where near as good as a main quest planet (which it coould have been if they wanted to make something good). They re-used everything, the bunkers are exacly the same as those of side quest plants and the main facility looks like the console hall (forgot the real name). WHich doesnt just make the expansion feel cheap but also the actual console hall less special.
But I did vote yes, not sure why now but if your an achievement hunter then its worth it I sepose. Anmd wasnt Microsoft offering discounts at the moment? IF they are then it might be worth picking up if the original game has become boring.
Avatars just weren't needed and it annoys me that they are there.Iconic_D
Hardcore gamers bought their console already, what's left for Microsoft are teens and casual gamers. These gamers wont buy their console based on one exclusive more or less but based on the cool extras. Which is home, avatars and mii's. The avatars are needed if Microsoft wants to keep ahead of Sony. And now that they are here I dont mind them so much either, it could be cool to have them wear clothing from my favorite games and use them in future online games. I wouldnt mind using my avatar in some over the top violent cartoon shooter.
I know the update is madatory and I like the new features but I don't want those little bastids dancing on my tv.
Has it been confirmed if you can just chose to be represented by only your old gamer pic?

Not sure if you can fully turn them off but you can simply choose the option on your 360 to immediatly start up games. Youll be able to do everything form the guide button once the update is done so you dont even need to go to the place where those little bastards hang out.
On the other side I like the avatars since the hardcore gamers alreayd have a 360, regular gamers and teens still need one and they base their decision on the extras (avatars, home and Mii) instead of exclusives. So thanks to thise little guys the 360 isnt going into the trash any time soon.
And you can dress the avatars up in clothing from your favorite games so they might actually look cool.
It has a bigger change then Fable 2 going to PS3 because LBP's IP isnt owned by Sony and Fable's is by Microsoft but still its very unlikely. Then again Mass Effect was heavily supported and published by Microsoft, EA took over and they quickly released a PC version. So in that comparison it could come to 360 but dont count on it, ofcourse LBP2 could come to 360.
