Big brand games have always been greater than $30. We are talking about 3DS games in general here. Most 3DS games will be around $29.99. Square enix, nintendo, and other big brand games will of course be greater than the usual $30. It has nothing to do with development time and money to create the games at all. They would still create a profit if they priced games at $30 but because they are big brand companies, they know people will buy them no matter the price. For those of you saying "$30 like usual", have you not noticed any of the $35 and $40 Nintendo DS games that have been released? Since the system has better graphics and more features, that means it may take more development time and money to create the game. Game cost in stores is based around how much it costs to produce them. PSP games cost $40 new, so it should cost at least the same as that. There's honestly no way the games will be $30 on average anymore. The only ones that might be cheaper are game remakes like Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Starfox 64 because since it's being based around a game that already exists, there's less planning needed compared to making a game from scratch.

Metroid. Castlevania. Megaman. Marvel vs Capcom.
I forgot to add a Phoenix Wright game
Is that...real? If it is, I don't think you can compare it to the 3DS because i'd imagine that contraption detracts from the experience while the 3DS requires no glasses. Also, what is that thing and how would I go about doing it with my psp? Thanks to the movie mode and this funky contraption included in Metal Gear Acid 2, I already have a good idea of how MGS3 looks in 3D. While not "mind blowing" I did find it refreshing. I certainly don't think it would "ruin" the experience of playing this game. (Acid 2 itself can be played in 3D as well, though doing this for any length of time is awkward just because you have to put your face right up to that stupid piece of plastic)

No. I have enough money for DQIX when it comes out. Then im back to zero. There are also a bunch of upcoming DS titles that i want to play. No sense in trying to deprive myself of the DS when the 3DS isnt even here yet. The DS is still alive guys, enjoy it while you still can because who knows how quick these developers will jump to the 3DS and abandon the DS.
[QUOTE="roosuu"]Oho. Nintendo's always doing such revolutionary stuff! Takes a while to wrap your brain around it.RikusakiLol! That line is taken right out of Mega64's 3DS video. :P You caught me. :P
