I heard the sound is even better than the itouch. But im not going to put songs on it because you have to leave the ds open all the time to listen to it. What's the point of that?

I could have sworn you could leave it closed with headphones in and it'll play? Or am I wrong?
kenny. aac is smaller compared to mp3. uses less mb per song. i got a pair of 20 dollar headphones at walgreens and the sound is excellent. you can even close the lid and still listen to music. a must have feature. anyways enjoy.Woe2spread
Really? Hmm I'm totally confused :P I'm hearing different things from different people. Yes. You can listen to the music with the DSi closed if the headphones are plugged in. AAC files will be larger than mp3 files. I own both a dsi and a psp but I wouldn't say the DSi sound quality is better or worse. It's just different. You can hear things in a song you couldn't hear on a psp. Also, the quality of the music through DSi speakers seems to be better than the PSP speakers(i compared the same mp3 files on both systems).
