lets not forget, that while its only multiplayer, it will only cost $40 retail w/a bluetooth headset (not saying a word about the quality of said headset). and will probably be around $30 (just a guess) thru psn. thats much better than another recently released multiplayer only game that goes for $59.99. and is not downloadable for a cost reduction.

if you really have to ask where you went wrong, there is probably nothing you can do about it

i liked it. its alot like daiblo 2...good ol mindless hack and slasher. great fun overall.

it has a few probs like:

1) ai henchmen are usually idiots. i only found one of them actually useful.

2) loading times are really bad. loading can take between 20 and 40 secs per area. really bad for a prrtable game.

3) inventory space is a little to small (though that gets better later in the game)

but yeah overall an enjoyable game. id give it an 8/10. if ure looking for a good ol mindless hack and slasher then its great.

thats a deal breaker right there...  totally unacceptable

I love the fact Sony has been very consistent with these firmware updates. as a previous post stated, the other machine didn't come with everything available on it currently on its first day either. What's important is that we are consistently getting GREAT features added to our machine on a monthly basis. Lay off the haterade, do u gals even have a PS3, or have those other consoles become so boring that u get your **** and giggles by crying on the ps3 forum. The overwhelming majority of PS3 owners LOVE their machine, especially its near 0 failure rate.

BTW, a lot of the missing features WILL be enabled once HOME goes live, the Home service will be so expansive that they want to perfect it during this time so they can get all of the upcoming VOD/in game messaging etc.. tho work correctly within the service. Even remote play will be beefed up to include games once HOME is up and running.

i have a psp, and sony updates almost every month or two. what other consol/handheld can say that?

but with a year to look at what is working for the 360, sony should have been able to identify a lot more features that should be standered. much like ms zune compared to the ipod, whith the zune coming out with no podcast, wrong. and the zune marketplace? a software company as big and prominent as microsoft should be ashamed at what a hog it is.

the ps3 should have access to the one thing that allows you to control it, the xmb. and being able to listen to your own music when playing a game, or streaming from your computer. a unified friends list, how basic does that seem. i love my ps3, watched planet earth on blu ray last weekend and was blown away. first off, that kind of nature show is just damn cool, and the hd quality is just fantastic. saw it on tv the next day, still a cool show, just looked like s...

ive only had one 360 die on me, still unecceptable, but ive read about others who have had 5,6, even 7 die on them...

i just hope your right that home will add a lot of the features that we all would like and that they dont rush it out. wait till its done and done correctly the first time.

the 1.8 update, while not as big a deal as the rumered 2.0 update, still adds a couple of big things... dvd upscaling to 1080p, thats pretty impressive.

dont get me wrong, i love my 360. but i also love my ps3. both have thier positives and negatives...

imagine sonys hardware and microsofts software (after a couple of updates, like any ms product).  that would be a damn good system to game on...
