@Lacerz: I own both systems and for anyone to declare a "winner" (stupidest thing the world) based on the number of games is waaaay beyond dumb. Play the games you like. Have you played every single PS4 game? Do you want to pay for every single PS4 game? Over all numbers don't mean anything. What is important is does it have games you like to play.
I sure as hell didn't buy a PS4 because it has more games, don't give a shit at all. I bought a PS4 because it had games I wanted to play. I bought a XB1 because it had games I wanted to play. I also like the unique experience I get with each one. This article is beyond narrow minded.
@ilovelctr the whole reason to buy an exclusive, be it time or not, is because the purchaser feels the game is going to be popular. For the 1% of gamers who actually follow through with not buying the game, EA easily recouped in the deal with MS.
If the first tomb raider sold over 6 million copies, if 10,000 gamers boycot the game ( that is not even 1/4 of a percent of loss sales. If 100,000 gamers boycott the game then that is a loss of 1.6%. Do you honestly think that
a) EA didn't recoup more than 1.6% revenue with this deal?
b) That more gamers will boycott?
Before you answer B, just think of the past history. On these boards you have about .00001% representation of gamers. History proves that these super gamers that love to talk a big talk are not representative of the general population as proven by other games being boycotted and still have good success. When Tomb Raider is released in '15 on the PS4 it will still sale well.
