You should be fine with that PSU. And it's coolermaster, which means it's a trustworthy brand. But, I'n not sure that it can handle anything more if you/she adds anything else

I would prefer you start with warcraft 3 and Rise of Nation. Even though they are old, and have bad graphics comparing to new ones, they have exellent gameplay.

Btw, CNC3 Tiberium Wars is pretty good game, but if u are a starter at RTS games, and u want to complete the single player missions, I wouldn't recommend it. There are some damn hard missions. I'm currently playing it and I'm stuck . But, if u want good multiplayer, its really good.

And, CoH is a really good game, has nice campaing and good multiplayer. :)

DX 11 cards arent released yet this is primarily because most video games in the market don't support it yet. There are hardly any ATI graphics cards that support DX 10.1! Cards like the ATI HD 4890/4870.

These are still very few. With games like Tom Clancys HAWX supporting DX 10.1.

Again, you need more patience!:)

Lot of Ati cards support 10.1. I have hd3850 and it supports it. But you're right for games, they are few and they are crap too:shock:

I had a 300W no name psu that was running my intel e8400 and ati 3850 normally. Yet again, that was risky and I upgraded it to 565W. Can you post you pc specs?

I'm sure u can run it with 450W supply. I had a noname 300W running E8400 and a ATI HD3850 perfectly, but I didn't want to get on trouble, so I bought a 565W ps
