I blame the installer for much of that confusion though)

Well, it depends in your ISP or country. Some may have problems, some not. You can look at their forums, people from UK if I'm not mistaken, using Virgin(ISP) had this problem too, while other ISPs didn't have any problems.

Did you even read what he wrote??

Turbine has serious problems when it comes to account creation. I had this problem before with Dungeons and Dragons Online (made by same company) and had a nightmare trying to create a account.
Your best option is to contact them via email, and they will make you a account for you. Or you can try registering but it can take some time.
For more help go to their forums and check for solutions and contact info.

Just finished a game with Persians. It was short because a played on a Duel map.

I tried HON dyring the free period,deleted it after 3 games

impressions:

- Heroes don't stand out much visually or gameplay wise

- the minimap looks like it was made in paint

- the in game text for kills/deaths used derogatory leet speak

-League of legends heroes are unbalanced

The game really is for the more hardcore...Only reason i play LoL is because my friends arent good enough at HoN to play with.

LoL is pretty casual

I agree with you. LoL is really casual, I couldn't play more than 3 games. Teammates never communicated, or they just rushed into towers and died. While the game looks good at the first glance, it doesn't appeal to everyone, mostly to DOTA veterans. But, to new players the best option is to play LoL, because it's free and you want to have some fun.

I wouldn't recommend you even play LoL. It's a terrible game. You're better off with DOTA, or maybe HON.

Hi guys,

I'm having some problems with the game, whenever I start the launcher, nothing shows up. It's like their servers are not working or whatever.. Also their website is down too.

I'ts really frustrating to me, it was working perfect until today, and I wanted to know if anybody else has this problem too, or it's just me?
