Hey I have an idea, let's wait for official 720 specs.

ikr, ive never seen someone try to draw a conclusion from two unreleased consoles and one of them hasnt even been announced yet.
edit: i wont ignore the original question so i would say....its too early to tell.
same here, i am always reading every article about games and very often visit old game stores to buy somewhat rare games that i have no intention of playing, i just want to have the game in my collection. i even turn on my xbox everyday....for netflix. but as far as actually playing a game....well that happens about once a month maybe. i do have a very strong interest in gaming and enjoy reading and seeing where the industry goes(which is starting to scare me now) but i dont have the time to play so much anymore. so yes, i would say it is possible because i am.
im still here too. been registered here since 04 or 05. but to be honest ive been coming to gamespot since like 97 or so, waaaaaaaaaaay long time ago. i still, to this very day, type in "videogames.com" everytime i visit this site. thats how i found it. oh when the web was young, as was i. i didnt use search engines at that time, i just figured everything that mattered was its own dot com. i was looking for videogames so i just added the dot com....and here i am.
edit: i just checked and ive actually been registered here since 03.....wow...almost 10 years. :(
overall its really nice. but i do absolutely hate the update to netflix. you can no longer jump forward with the bumpers, most of the controls from that come up during playback are gone. now there is only ff, rw, play, pause and stop. you cant stretch the image or even bring up info. also i always like being able to press the start button to pause and play, now pressing start just brings up the controls to select pause, minor but still inconvenient. one big thing is that they finally brought subtitles. netflix on xbox live has been awesome but no subtitles was a bummer, now they finally bring them in and then take away other things we had come used to having. i never will understand why companies do things this way, one step forward and two steps back.
Of all, or just the main systems you play, list the number of games you have for that system and the GAMESPOT onlyreview score average. go ahead and tell which system you prefer. maybe its the one without the highest average. pc gamers you can get in on this also. some truth will be found in these numbers about how people really feel about their systems.
heres mine so far im only listing the systems i play most which are xbox 360 and wii and im including dreamcast for good measure since i still play it regularly. ill update as i can.
xbox 360- 21 games- 8.9 average
wii- 7 games- 7.98 average
dreamcast- (coming soon, i know i have games at home that i dont have on my list on gamespot.)
[QUOTE="rtehrani"]let me guess, you like many of the other 360 owners here (myself included), feel its worth the price right? they ask for reasons, we give the reasons, they tell us were wrong, and so it continues. what are the exact numbers for GOLD connected players? anyone know.i just signed up for 2 years for $75 today. ive had live for 6 years...dont intend to get rid of it anytime soon.

yeah, i could think of much worse things i could spend that money on, haha. i find it very worth it when, every once in a while, i get online with halo 3 or some other gameand playwith 4 of my old high school friends(graduated in 2002) and we all live in 4 different cities. some could say i could do that with ps3 without paying, but none of those friends, including me, have a ps3. but thats just one of the reasons i keep live, i never felt thedesire to argue why i pay for it. i like its features so i pay. done deal.

for me it was bioshock it was the first game this generation that when i play it i was shocked of how amazing the graphics where. i remember when the game started and u are in the water i thought it was still a cut scene, when i found out it was gameplay graphics i was like omfg i could not believe it.
pc-ps360
that is EXACTLY how i felt in that part. the plane crashed the the guy came to the surface of the water and i waited and waited while in awe of the cutscene.....then after about 20 seconds of nothing i flicked the right thumbstick and the view changed and i moved it around and was like OMG this is real time? crazy, you took the words right out of my mouth.
