I normally don't jump into a thread without trying to help, but this is ridiculous to me. How is it that people can spend huge amounts of money on high end, technical products and not know basic troubleshooting? To me, it's like a kid with his daddy's gun. He has no business playing with it. You buy a high end cpu and don't know how to properly install it? Jeez!
I don't really care for vehicles. I prefer the large maps and bolt action rifles of Call of Duty 2 myself. With the next installlment I'd be happy with just super, large maps, and an emphasis on taking your opponent out from a decent distance. The maps on COD4 were just way to small and hectic for my taste. No strategy at all, sometimes just dumb luck would determine who lived and who died.:(
What happened to my response DD's quote about image quality? Anyway, with a GTX 260 216 on a Sony 22" E540 Trinitron in pristine condition running at 1920x1440@95mhz, 16xAniso/8xMSAA, the games looks pretty damn good. lol

I know what you mean. I had to dig up my old Far Cry cd. There was no way I was not going to find that sucker. I gotta tell you the gun mechanics are spot on and hit damage is very realistic. You don't have to shoot a guy a million times before he dies. You hit him in the head and he goes down. Its also works the other way. If I get hit in a critical spot I 'm down. I can't wait to be able to try this on the hardest difficulty, but that going to be awhile. What i really love is how the enemy make such great use of the foilage, and surrounding terrain. You can tell the modders really wanted you to be challenged.
I can't believe how great this mod is. I would pay for this! How far have you gotten? I can't make it past the first mission as I keep geting shot by some sort of one hit, one kill weapon. Every time it happens the game won't pan the camera over to where the shot came from so you are constantly guessing. Have you been able to save yet? I keep having to start from the beginning. ThI also love how you can choose which way to approach objectives via Crysis. Hell......this mod actually looks like Crysis on Med to Low settings depending on where you are at. I can't wait to see more as I struggle to get thru these missions.
