I have been a GS subscriber for about 6 years. I have always enjoyed the content and I have found most of their reviews pretty much on the mark. I am very disappointed about the recent separation of Jeff from GS. I find it very unlikely that he was contributing in a nagative manner outside of annoying their advertisers. I like straight talk from people about products I plan to spend money on and I feel Jeff did a great job of giving me that info. The HR people at GS and CNET will of course sight other issues that came into play regarding his termination and I would expect nothing less from the sort of turds who gain employment in the HR departments of any corporate entity. HR departmentsdo nothing productive; they do not produce anything tangible, they exist solely to mitigate resposibility and risk while fabricating their own version of the truth to match the ridiculous actions of the management they work for. I doubt there are any valid reasons for Jeff's removal other than he told the truth about a half assed game that is not worth $60. For that I say THANK YOU Jeff and bid GS farewell, I have cancelled my subscription and will refrain from using it as a resource for my gaming. I have an account with several other sites and I am happy to say that CNET and its various advertisors will neither receive my patronage nor support from now on.

They are pretty good for making a game have more replay appeal. However some people get carried away. Like the people that play games they would never play to get pointsor the top Gamerscore guys who must have magic powers or something because they manage to get points for games that have not even been released yet; or they have so many points that they pretty much would have to be playing 24/7. I have not quite figured out what the draw is for being #1 in the world, I have a job and a life so it isn't very appealing to me. It is kind of fun to compete with my close friends on my list though.

I would be happy to see some of the first Xbox's titles get sequals. JSRF would be top on my list. Also Mech Assault would be cool. How about a non Advanced Warfighter version of Ghost Recon where the Special Ops guys leave all that BS Star Wars gear at home and do some real Spec War type missions like raids and ambushes. Kind of like the original GR games with better graphics. Another KOTOR type RPG would be cool as well.

Which is what? They obviously have taken some amount of money as a deposit, they obviously are with holding the product so other customers cannot purchase it. If the person decides to cancel their reservation then the item goes back to general stock and becomes available. So what is it you know about this situation that i am missing. Is that too complicated or something, because most retailers have software that does it for them.The point which you are apparently missing is that a major chain store should update their system. Thanks for the sharshooting session, I always appreciate explaining things over again and then still being told that I the customer should change to make the retailers job easier and not vice versa.

Could have phoned, should not have to phone (21st century has been here for almost a decade), EB lost a sale.... And you missed the point.

[QUOTE="rwoot"]No man, like I said the kid behind the counter told me they had a bunch of copies but they were all spoken for by people who reserved them. The problem stems from their inventory not reflecting the reserved copies as having been sold and still available.EmpCom
Probably because reserved copies are not sold copies until the customer comes in and pays for them.You complain about a problem that was as simple to avoid as phoning the store you were intending to visit.

OK here we go again. A small retail shop can take a deposit and put an item in a layaway mode so it does not appear on our website and mislead a potential customer into thinking we have an item available. Again a multimillion dollar nation wide chain of stores cannot manage to do such an amazing accomplishment. Again if the website said 1 or 2 available I would have called however 4+ available tells me I am probably good to drive 15 minutes and pick it up. Again the clerk did not say oh sorry we just sold out. And for an update GS/Eb website still lists 4+ units at said location. Get it genius. Not that big of a deal, i will find the game tomorrow, just annoyed I wasted time because of a companies lack of customer service or software savvy.

Yeah, sand gets everywhere in the Gulf region. Qatar, SA, Kuwait and Iraq all get dust storms this time of year that last for days and even weeks. the dust is super fine and gets everywhere. Just use the canned air once a week and blow all the dust out as best you can. Dust and Sand are hell on electronics over there.

[QUOTE="ColoradoKindBud"][QUOTE="Super-Trooper"][QUOTE="outbreak201"]

[QUOTE="ColoradoKindBud"]^Let's see. Shadowrun scored a 6.9, The Darkness scored an 8.5 so please don't talk to me about The Darkness not being a "quality game". And I guess I'm supposed to be offended because you insinuated that I suck at Shadowrun but I'm not, because it's impossible to suck at Shadowrun, it basically requires no skill whatsoever. A brain-defected monkey couldn't suck at Shadowrun.THETRUEDOZAH

hey man dont cry to me that u bought and wasted ur money on overlord, the darkness, DiRt, and Tenchu Z ...LMAO!!!!

Dont be such an ass Overlord, The Darkness, and Dirt are all great games - what the hell is your problem?

Yes, they are good games. And although Tenchu wasn't that great graphically, I still logged around 40 hours into it because it was fun to play. And the only reason the guy is flaming me is because I made a valid point about Shadowrun that he couldn't dispute without resulting to insults. It's no biggie.

If you think Shadowrun takes no skill, you are a fool. There is no more hardcore experience on Live right now. The amount of things you need to keep track of while playing that game puts it head and shoulders above every other multiplayer shooter, no question. I have all the proof I need in the fact that everytime I play a match, I always start out merely average, but by the time I've outfitted myself with all my tech and magic, I take first in just about every game. There isn't a game that requires MORE skill out on 360 right now.

How does you taking first every game prove it takes skill to play this game exactly?
