I should get that game sometime myself. Used to play super smash bros on the Nintendo 64 when it first came out.

I thought there were some cool titles from EA games, such as The Simpsons Game, the Sims, etc

I've been meaning to finish this game myself, but have been bogged down with other ones as well, such as Ghost Busters, Batman and GTA 4

Personally, I think that an Xbox 720 is inevitable. Most game systems seem to be good for 5 years or so before getting replaced with a new one. It has happened many times before (i.e., the NES era to the SNES/Genesis era, Xbox era to Xbox 360 era as well). Of course, Ihope the change does not happen too soon as there are plenty of games to be played on the Xbox 360 (and wii for that matter now that I am a Wii owner). I think even in this generation of gaming, there still are some new grounds to be covered:

- virtual reality has not fully been invested in yet. I remember back during my high school years, virtual reality made its debut (for example, I used to go to this arcade place similar to gameworks at Whistler, known as Mountain World, though it went out of business since) and they had plenty of virtual reality style-equipment, such as mech warrior simulation pods as well as this game where you put on these special virtual reality glasses and shoot aliens with this controller (not sure what it was called). Progress is getting there of course, especially with the rise of the motion sensor controllers that debuted on the wii (and I understand that Microsoft is planning to join in that bandwagon, with upcoming titles like Project Milo, which is a simulation game I saw on youtube where you can interact with this virtual character). One big change that would impress me is if virtual reality became mainstreamed in some future generation game systems (possibly Xbox 720 era at the earliest)

- MMORPGS for the Consoles (such as Second life, Star Wars Galaxies, World of War Craft, etc). Obviously, there are plenty of Xbox live games out there (such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2), butMMORPGS could become a hit for Xbox live gamers, especially if they do not have a computer to play MMORPGS on.

- TV less consoles (besides handhelds) could be another big leap for the gaming industry. For example, if they came with their own projectors that you can display on the wall or had special goggles you could use (that does alot better than Nintendo's Virtual Boy console of course).

I usually play single player games myself. There are plenty of good single player games out there (like Metroid Prime Trillogy, Borderlands, etc), and plus, while multiplayer games can be fun (such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare), they tend to be on the competitive side and sometimes it is fun to go solo on various games.

Speaking of Marvel vs DC, I wonder if companies would ever make a similar game from the Bandai Universe (such as Power Rangers Meets VR troopers or Tranformer meets Voltron)?

Just out of curiousity, do any of you have both an Xbox 360 and a Wii? It happened to me on Christmas, after my brother a wii for my family. Now I have both a Wii and Xbox 360. By the way, how would you compare the two systems? The only criticism I have about the Wii is that you have to stand while playing the games, which can take some tme getting used to. I don't have PS 3 yet, but I do have a PS 2 instead.
