This is the way I see it:

this isnt about gays, this isnt about Christianity or God.

This is about a group of human beings with a certain lifestyle that deserve the exact same rights every citizan of this country recieves.

Sexual preference, gender, race, weight, physical appearance...it all does not matter; we deserve equal rights.

Discrimination against gays (which is what is happening when gay marriage is banned) is just as horrible as discrimnation against blacks decades ago. The US claims to be a place of freedom, and for the most part we are, but we cannot embrace this title unconditionally until we get over our archaic, Puritan beliefs we think founded this country.

Anyone who is against gay marriage, imo, is against the progression of the human race, is as horrible as those that discriminate based on race, and is against the American way of life.

I think Turco has won one game in Joe Luis. Hios track record against Detroit is not good, though., That worries me. At the same time, Osgood is yet to really be tested. He isn't the elite goal tender that Turco is. I am unsure who is going to win this series. I knew Dallas would come out on top against both the Ducks and the Sharks, but this one....I don't know. They did this back in the 1800s so illiterate blacks would fail the tests and only the educated whites would be able to vote. It was kind of like a trick against the blacks to make them think they could actually vote. If someone were to suggest this test in congress it would get thrown out, not because it isnt logical (because it is pretty logical), but because they used to do it in the slave times. moptopskate
