Hey bros. I'm finishing up college next year and need some much needed motivation to push through. I'm planning on getting my Phd then going into either finance or technology and my undergraduate degree is in Economics with minors in math and english lit. Could you post the resumes of some famous tech personalities or really anyone who's managed to succeed or make it for themselves? I'm gather one for David Pogue as we speak.

or just tell me what motivates you. blah.

Ah taking to the shop tomorrow with my PS3 and asking them to fix it. Sony support couldn't help either. Just my luck. Thanks tho.

Bros. Help me out. I bought a new Samsung S27C350H (a 27 inch HD monitor) to use with my PS3 ultra slim but the picture dosnt show up. The monitor works fine via HDMI with my laptop and the PS3 works fine with Sony Bravia and my old 21 inch LCD. To be on the safe side, I went out and got a branded HDMI cable but nothing. The monitor's still blank when I connect. Any help/ideas?

[QUOTE="saadbd"]

so could i run oblivion on a core 2 duo 2.1 with 2 gigs and a nvidia 310m? I'm pretty sure the cpu and ram is solid but my gpu is weak. any idea of how it would run? I'm running win 7 and its an asus laptop. Thanks.

I'd start with medium settings. Your GPU is the equivalent to the desktop Radeon HD5450

hey thanks. i found thishttp://www.techspot.com/review/244-ati-radeon-hd-5450/so i'm not too hopeful but ill give it a shot. thanks!

[QUOTE="KHAndAnime"] They aren't trying at all. One thing that made Morrowind fun for me was the gratuitous amount of skills, so you could really fine tune your character to be whatever you want in the ES universe. In Skyrim, from what I understand, one character is pretty much going to cover everything the game has to offer. And quick travel? Lame. Bring pack transports.morrowindnic

They did..traveling carts

It still has Quick tavel and quest markers. So it doesn't count at all.

agreed. half the fun i had in morrowind was hauling ass all over the land trying to get to whereever i thought i needed to get to and stumble upon things i hadnt encountered before. random dungeons ,monsters, encounters, loot that were really exciting. thats what made the game for me. and plus it actually felt i was in some exotic realm, not some medival citystate 'cough'oblivion 'cough'. im still going to get skyrim tho, once i get a good enough pc just cause ive got both morrowind and oblivion. im hoping itll be the sum of the best parts of both.

edit: OP should get morrowind. it rocks so hard. you probably won't be dissapointed.
