well im buying a dell vostro for about 539 and before you start to hate on dell i gotta say im on a budget and cant afford even an 800 computer

thats why when i buy it i can upgrade it later on replace the mobo power supply and add cooling..

well for now i just want to know if it can play quake wars, and counter strike

also i want to know should i get it with windows xp or windows vista home premium?

operating system (?)

1 gig of ram (will upgrade to 2 later, up to 4 gigs)

160 gigs of hard drive

300 watt power supply (i will upgrade to 600 when i get enough cash)(i hope it wont mess up my comp)

Nvidia Geforce 8600gt 256 mb (i dont know how much it can store, if its not much i will replace the mobo LATER)

Intel Pentium dual core processor E2140 (yes i will upgrade later on)

and i will be going wireless using roadrunner

Well just wanted to know if its good enough for quake wars and counter strike

any other though on what i should do or what i should get to help out this system?

thanx in advance...

PS. it be much easier and helpful if you could rly criticize this,i need to know the weak-points. But stick to the comp i just dont have time to built it myself because i know you guys are always saying to build it yourself i cant im sorry to busy (lol im only 15 but yes im a busy teen)

what game has inspired you to make games a part of your lifeeither to design program be a professional gamer or just have fun with them?

mine was my first game for the ps2 gta vice city

and to be a professional gamer was quake III arena

and to one day design them for my own company was DOOM (the first one)

well im about to build a computer for the first time and i was wondering what products would be good for a gaming rig. Im pretty much going to play quake wars, WoW, Starcraft 2, and counterstrike source.

Motherboard - (ANY THOUGHTS)(for AMD)

Processor - Amd (any suggestions)

Graphics card - EVGA 320-P2-N811- 8800GTS 320MB 320 bit GDDR3 PCI EXPRESS (any other recommendations)

Power supply - Rosewill RX850-S-B ATX 12V v.2.2 850W

Hard Drive - Western Digital Raptor x WD1500AHFD 150GB 10,000 RPM 16 MB cache serial ATA OEM (THE ATA whats that will it work with the antec 900 ATX? and whats OEM)

Cooling - (any thoughts) (what exactly is liquid cooling is it hard to install?) (or do i stck with fans ) (will liquid cooling work with the antec 900 since the antec has a bunch of fans?)

Case - ANTEC 900

thanx for the help in advance...
