it's simply big companies investments war and it has nothing to do with (( providing the best to the coustmors )) and remember that pc is a microsoft platform and simply they don't own both tech cell and blue ray (( cell devolped by ibm, blue ray by sony )) and the cell that is in the ps3 created specifically for gaming not like the pc processor that been made for general porpouses rather than gaming )) and also remember that ms took a step in supporting the hd dvd to compet with the blue ray tech ,also i assume that u already knew that sony own some hollywood studios and they really need to invest and sell their products ( movies, music. lcd's etc ) so they had to invent that new tech the blue ray to help present thier products the best they can , and beleive me if ms were in sony's shoe they would do the same exact thing to help making growth to their products and companies ...... so i guess as you can see now it's not about you and me it's all about the mony $$$...... and in the end the choice is in ur hand to choose what kind of products that fit's ur needs more and go for it as long as it makes u happy (( and pls don't be owned by fanboism p.o.v and not to see the actuall fact of things cause fanboism makes u blind! after all neither of both sony and ms pays ur bills ))......sorry 4 making it long
look man 1st i am not a fanboy at all and really don't like to get into these kind of wars......lol but really from a personal p.o.v if really the dvd can handle the new technologies that r coming so why on earth do u think that microsoft went for hd dvd and support it if it wasn't that worth it?!! (( and i really do beleive that ms guys are smart and know excatly what they r doing )).......... it's simply cuz dvd era in the upcoming days and in the near future simply not enough and the blue ray tech is already invented and supported by sony so they had took for a similar tech to compet with and that was a good step 2 ........ so if u really still beleive that dvd's tech are still capable to handle what's coming next fine just stay with it and be happy ......... but i really see that the hd dvd and blue ray is a natural development of the dvd as the dvd was to cd and as my sd tv to my lcd full hd tv....... it's normal and it's a history lessons
I wasn't surprised by this. The Xbox 360 is the console with the more powerful graphic chip. I don't think Crytek really needed a CPU like the cell to do all the things they wanted to do, therefore the PS3 gets pushed to its limits graphically. I don't really care much more beceause although I heard Crysis Warhead is good, Crysis and Halo 3 have to be the most overrated shooters of all time by fanboys all across the world collectively.

i am sorry i am not a fanboy at all but crysis is about the gpu for the graphics and the cpu for the physics so both are at the same level of essentiality ps: go for youtube to watch the physics demos of crysis 1 theres plenty of it out there

Well....After this MS conference (and games like Forza3, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell) im starting to believe that it is what happen with all multiplats. Theres no evidence of PS3 being more powerfull than 360 besides sony "lies" and cows claims here on system wars!
