Good. They should take away smoking all together so more people don't get hooked. It serves no purpose in this world besides to make the big guys richerxwolfghost

Right. And then they can take away alcohol, and caffeine, and all other legal substances that can cause addiction. Like it or not, smoking is a huge part of the world, and it's been that way for a long time. I smoke, but I am considerate - I don't smoke when I'm around a lot of other people. Overall, anti-smoking legislation is going too far. My right to enjoy a cigarette in a public place should not be taken away just because people don't like it. In major cities, there's tons of pollution anyway, so quit crying about breathing "foul air" or whatever every time you see a smoker.

The reason why I don't believe in god, is because of the lack of evidence to prove that he does exist. Atheism is more logical, otherwise you might aswell go around believing in the Sugar Plum Fairy.

sinarilias

so u belive when u die u just lose your mind and like dont exist anymore.

Yes. It's a fact. You don't go to heaven and walk about with your little feet, meet jesus and God and all your greatgrandfathers...

It's all a load of crap.

ROFL! ROFL! Here come the biased athiests. You lose all credibilty with that comment.

There is actually some pretty good proof of an afterlife. Ghosts and stuff like that. Scientists have conducted experiments and reckon that your mind can survive bodily death. Infact there is lots of proof of an afterlife.

But seriously, you are an idiot for calling your "Opinion" a "Fact". All atheists are like this, all idiots. They all think that their opinions are hard solid facts.

OH REALLY? SOME SCIENTISTS SOMEWHERE HAVE DONE SOME TESTS, HAVE THEY?

Honestly, I am probably around 99% sure that there is no little cloud land called 'heaven' and a large man with a beard that created the world...

That's like the funniest statement I've heard this year. qwerty2305, you are probably a devoted christian, but if you are............................................. Don't take the bible word for word. Afterlife, heaven, hell are things that are in the religious world. God has proven that he doesn't exist when he didn't show up for 2 thousand years, which he promised to show up. How do you explain that???? He missed his appointment?

Wow. Don’t know where the ghosts came from. Anyway, as always, people overstate things and make ridiculous arguments. Basically, no, it is impossible to prove or disprove the existence of God. And as for one being more "logical" than the other, well that really depends on your point of view. If you have serious problems with evolution and its total reliance upon the random development of an incredibly complex world, then it’s more logical for you to believe in God. On the other hand, if you dislike the idea of having to accept something for which there is no proof and believing in a higher being that does not abide by our rules of physics, then it’s more logical for you to be an atheist.

Personally, I believe in God for three main reasons:
1. The question of origins (matter and consciousness) cannot be properly explained by science (up to this point).
2. The incredible amount of chance involved in macroevolution, as well as how the development of the desire to live and multiply seen in nature would occur.
3. If humans are the highest form of life in the universe - well, let's just say I don't exactly approve of the job evolution has done.
