Not really.

When TC asks what games look better than Uncharted 2.....take THIS into consideration...

-We have seen extensive in-game footage of Uncharted 2

-We know it uses an updated engine from the original Uncharted, and therefore have a good idea of what to expect

-We have interviews from the developers -We know Uncharted 2 was shown at a recent conference, and have seen what the game will play like

-Uncharted 2 beta will be available in about a week

Now ...people are trying to compare Alan Wake to Uncharted 2? LOL!!! Alan who??? We havent seen ANY gameplay footage. We dont know how the game will play. We dont know nearly enough about Alan Whatever-his-name-is to be comparing it to U2. For all we know, Alan Wake might never even be released.

But sadly...Alan Who? is all that 360 fans have to cling onto...even though it's still a mystery and no one knows what the game will be like.

Ohyeah...it's also on PC BTW - so it's not an exclusive. TV specifically asked what 360 exclusive coming out looks better than Uncharted 2.

dont care about the graphics argument, but i believe people are hyped for the game because of reasons which you will understand if you have played max payne.

The fact that xbots are hyping a game that might not even be released shows me how desperate they are for an exclusive to hype.

Its hilarious how this guy is trying to downplay the 360. You know what buddy, go play killzone 2, too bad u realized that it does not have the long legs that games like halo 3 and gears do. And instead of bashing a game that might blow everyone's mind at E3, why dont you go and look up some info about it? It looks great, and is being made by an incredible dev team. Thats more than enough to warrant my interest, but i guess ps3 fanboys like you need more than that thos eINCREDIBLE GRAPHICS! its all smoke and mirrors man.

who really cares? ps3/x360 look basically the same. what x360 needs is games with stuff that breaks rather than lots more eye candy. imprezawrx500
What do you mean more than eye candy? Destructible environments are being done in games like Red Faction Guerilla. Name me a ps3 game which has OMG toally 100 percent DESTRUCTIBILIZATION environments. Yeah i didnt think so. But you know what pisses me off more than the rampant and large amount of playstation fanboys in these forums? The fact that no one acknowledges how much Uncharted 2 looks SIMILAR to gears 2. I mean it has the shield like gears 2, they pretty much ripped the whole cover system off from it in the first one, so i ask u ps3 fanboys, have u realized that your game isnt as innovative as you think it is? ITs actually GEARS 2: PS3 VERSION As for graphics, it sad that people argue over them so much. To me, graphics are only visible for the first 10 minutes when i start a new game. After that, i become so immersed in it, that they take a backseat to the gameplay. Gears 2, IMO, is more visually appealing, not because its graphically better, but because it has gore, a better and more convincing world, and a wider variety of adversaries. These things make a game great, no "OMG did U SEE those xplosionz?"

Well if it helps, i absolutely loved oblivion, one of the best games i have ever played, and i finished RE 4 about 3 times my question is though, i have seen some fallout videos, and it LOOKS really dry and bland. Do the quests have variet and are they FUN? like the guild quests in oblivion?

Nope every mission is a little doffrent and interesting, each mission helps further develope new truths and quests. Go Fallout for sure you will get your money out of it.

Thanks so much man, you just convinced me to buy fallout 3 for now. I guess RE 5 will have to wait (i really wanted to encounter the bosses in it but i heard some of them are really stupid and boring plus the game is only 10 hours long on normal). Thnx man

Your in a tough spot, Fallout for longevity no question. But don't cut RE5 short, it has a lot of replayability and Mercinaries which i think was the most addicting mini-game ever.

Fun....really hard to give a recommendation for. From my point of view, i'd say RE5 no question, but i was a huge fan of Fallout, it only really made me want to play Oblivion. If Fallout sucks you in then you'll be really happy with your choice but if not, you could find yourself regretting it.

Sorry, i feel like i've made it harder instead of helping.

Hey guys, i have a moral dilemma on my hands here.

Resident evil 5 is coming out pretty soon, and i finally have some spare cash to get it. However, I also skipped out on some fall games last year, so i was wondering:

Should i get RE5 or Fallout 3 (or any other game besides Gears 2)?

Please consider the fun and the length of how long each game(s) will last me. Im a student so i cant buy a lot of games. Play time is a big factor (thus im leaning toward fallout, but i played the RE 5 demo over 6 times, and find it awesome).

Thanks for any recommendations.

[QUOTE="saleen335"]but guys the thing is that i absolutely loved GTA:SA. It was one of my fav games last gen. Although i have played it before, it has been about 3 years, so will i enjoy it (i hated GTA4)? as for BC: rearmed, i loved the demo, is the rest of the game similar to that, and how long is the single player?PlasmaBeam44

If you feel that way about SA then get it. If you liked the BC demo then you'll love the rest of the game.

Thnx for the help man. Im gonna rule out gears 2 dlc cuz its overpriced crap when u really think about it. Besides that, are there any other XBLA games i should think about (N+, geometry wars 2)?
