"Update yer blog, scallywag!"

Okay Harkat, this one's for you! Not much has been going on with me. Just got back from vactation in Orlando to be greeted by a message announcing me, yes ME as the new Leader of the Hardcore Racers Union. So all yall come join, now! Yeah, I missed E3, sucks. I wont get that pretty badge I've been hoping for. Sigh. Also, up soon may be a new video, maybe a couple of days, or whatever. So yeah, there you go. Also if you want to request a topic for me to blog about, feel free to tell me in the comments section! --salsa911

Birthday! Pre-ordered TDU2!

New video!

Hey, I made another video, this time it is a playthrough of the Final Fantasy Dissidia demo on my PSP. I play as Cloud through a few battles. My analog stick was broken though, so I had to use the lock on feature to guide myself. Also, this is my 3rd video up, but if you look in My Videos, there are only 2 of them. This one, and my Piano Cover of Paparazzi. So what happened to my 1rst one, of the inFAMOUS review? I don't know. After I uploaded my second piano video, it just disappeared. Gone forever. I have no idea if I'll get it back or not, but just telling you guys. So check out my new video, please!

SECOND video up! (Filler)

Hey, I have a second video up. For those of you who had no idea, which is probably all of you, I'm a music freak. So it's me playing Lady GaGa's Paparazzi. I like the sound of the modern-type beat but played with the piano. I also like Owl City, Flyleaf, Paramore, Switchfoot (see avatar), and Flynn Adam, Rootbeer, you know? Yeah, please watch it. It's me playing, not some one else.

My first video is up!

Yo, I've just posted my first vid. It's the IGN review for inFAMOUS. Just sayin'. My next video will be gameplay but I'm not sure what game to do. Suggestions? --salsa911

My day

I got some crazy stuff goin on. Today after school I had track practice. Were starting field events, like pole vault, high jump, discus, stuff like that. I did high jump. It's like where there's a big huge mat and two poles on each side of it. There is a wood bar hanging from them that you gotta jump over and land on the mat. You run at it diagonally ,jump with your left foot and swing your right leg over it and basically vault it. You flip over it in the air onto the mat. It's really fun, until what happened to me. I jumped and my foot hit the pole accidentally and it fell. Which isn't horrific, you just messed up. But the thing is that it slid underneath me when I hit the mat. I landed on it on the side of my back. I felt a jolt of pain burst up my side and lower-rib muscle(?). It hurt like crap and now every time I walk on my right foot, I feel pain. Badly. I don't know why it happened, and there's a big bruise on my side now, too. Let me repeat. It hurts like CRAP. -Depending on how bad crap hurts.- So I'm injured right in the second week of conditioning for track. It sucks. Also it's the start of the fourth grading period, and I get my report card back this Friday. This may be what it is like: Language Arts - 87.34 Science - 83.46 Art - 98.56 Tech - 97.34 P.E. - S Social Studies - 97.89 Pre Algebra - 81.73 You may not think of that as bad, but I do. I really want to make Algebra next year instead of taking Pre Algebra over again. Well at least this Friday is my last day until Spring Break. Which leads me to this: 2 months til Summer break. Which I can't yet can wait for at the same time. So summer, yippee, fun, no school, outside all-nighters. But also if I may say my 'love life' or whatever is going downhill for me until then. Then it'll be gone. Like basically my friend, who is, a girl who is yet again my friend, wont be here starting summer. I feel sad and soon that sadness will turn into loneliness over summer. And I'll never see her again, probably. I'm so sad. Well, hope my side heals up, my grades come in better, and summer doesn't come too soon. See ya --salsa911

GDC Twenty-Ten

I watched it! I watched only a bit of it, and heard the devastating truth of inFAMOUS's Empire City and how it was 'cheaply' made. Heck, I don't care as long as I can shoot stuff with lightning. --salsa911

inFAMOUS review

Hey, I'm gonna review inFAMOUS for y'all. inFAMOUS. Where Grand Theft Auto and Dead Space meet. inFAMOUS is a basic platformer sandbox game. But what makes it stand out from all the other super hero games is that it also combines puzzles, strategy, flying, RPG-ness, first person shooting, and LIGHTNING! Cole McGrath is an average bike messenger college graduate living in Empire City, home of over 1.5 million. Empire City is a chain of 3 islands, Warren District, Neon District, and Historic District. But things change when he is sent to deliver a package from an anonymous person, which explodes in his hands. It sends out a pulse of electricity, destroying everything in it's path except for Cole and a few hundred survivors. Diseases and plagues ravage Empire City, gangs turn into juggernauts that rule the city, the mainland government shuts off any association between the islands and the mainland itself. And at the same time, people think Cole is a terrorist that set off the bomb. The story unravels and in the end without spoilers, every connects. As Cole, you can clear your name by becoming a hero and healing citizens, defeating gangs, and doing good deeds. Or you can become a thug and kill people for your own benefits, steal, and destroy. It's all up to you, thanks to the Karma meter in the top left hand corner. If you're bad, the marker will go to the red side of the meter, and if you're good, it will go to the blue side. If you're good, your lightning will turn blue, you attacks will become more precise, but if your evil, you will become more powerful with meaner attacks. You can buy attack upgrades in the menu. Non-aggressive powers include static thrusters (jet propulsion), charge (recharge your health and battery cores), grinding on rails and train tracks at high speeds, and amazing climbing skills. Agressive powers include melee combat, sticky grenades, lighting storms, and shockwaves. The gameplay is fun, first your jumping rooftop to rooftop, then you grind an electric power cord, then brawl some Reapers, jump up onto a building and hang to every fixture available, and jump up and balance on top of a water tower all in under a minute. Pressing L1 lets you aim, R1 to shoot, X to end out a shock wave, square shoots a sticky grenade, and other later additions. You unlock new islands to go to and abilities as you progress through story missions. There are also 30 side missions, but you can only play 15 of them. Example, you complete a good side mission, and then an evil one is locked out. The graphics are on the good side, though don't be confused; in some parts of the game Cole's vision blurs on purpose. inFAMOUS is a must have PS3 game. --salsa911
