I just watched the video on ign and they are right. It is nothing to worry about until sony comes out and says they won't use used game any more. But until then this is just a peace of paper with an idea they bought and filed away.
I understand what everyone's complaint is. But lately gaming has changed with steam, an the playstation network and xbox live. I can go on to steam and buy a game like dead space 2 or batman arkham city and not worry if I lose it or not. The same goes for the playstation network and xbox live. I can even preorder games on the playstation now. This is making used games a thing of the past. But this is also making disks a thing of the past. Last year this same problem came up. Both xbox and playstation came out and said they patent tech all time some good, some bad it doesn't mean they are going to use what they patent. It is just something they can use if they ever need to.
I think it is the other way around. They have put all there games on there network making them downloadable games. They even have games that can't be bought in store you have to buy them on there network, you have to download them. Ok the price of the memory card suck and the size of the cards they have for the vita aren't that large. But in time cards with most likely be sold with the system. There most likely will be larger size and costs for them will come down.
