I have loved the ME story and thought the ending was fine, I've not played the extended version yet but I'm sure it will be equally satisfying. Great news that there are going to be more DLC, really l;ook forward to that.

@FloVixen Yes, just noticed that too, as you say it's misleading and confusing as it says:

"The Extended Cut will release on June 26th on Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 in North America and July 4th for PlayStation 3 in Europe."

@GryphonICD I was going to wait, but in the end I wanted to see the ending Bioware intended and I'm glad I did.

@FadeToBlack90 *SPOILERS* - There is a possible outcome to all 3 'different' endings where Shepard could come back, he is, after all more than human, in fact there is lots of room to further the story if they want to include Shepard or not. I for one would love to see Shepard return, but if he / she does not then I am happy with the ending as it is as I can draw my own conclusions. I don't like to be spoon fed.

Great news indeed. I am lucky enough to have a PS3, Xbox & PC and they're all brilliant machines in their own right.

Well, I've just finished the game after leaving it for a couple of months after reading all the negative comments. I needn't have worried, I thought it was a fine ending to a fine game. I can fully understand why the 'different' endings are the same, it's because that's the direction the game designers want it to go, end of. Yes, it will be interesting to see what they have come up with but in my view, it aint broke in the first place.

Hope Sam Worthington isn't in this one. His American accent is awful :-)
