@sippio: It's Gamespot so they do have some pull in the industry. I think it's legit. Thank them for the chance at least, I did just get a 4k TV and want to play some PS4 games like Bloodborne and HDZ and God of War though won't buy a PS4. Who knows maybe PS5 will be of interest to me, if they get the controller right.

Wow these people have the right to do that? I thought they needed to get their hands on the product, to even be able to share it. I suppose there's something sneaking suspicion, there's a rightful conduct with permissions we can't see. Then again some people do what ever they can, to share what they know how to exploit. Question is who and how do they have the knowhow?

In theory I think they'll make more buttons. Holding your controller, you'll notice your triggers can be used by one finger. This is nice because they can add one more button, you can use the end of your finger to press making 3 triggers for your first finger. I play many games using Raiju soft pull, while being able to press the inside trigger easily, without having much trouble using the other trigger as well. Using your middle finger for one extra soft pull and your ring finger and pinky to grip the controller around the bottom, there'll be one more button there to play with. That's a total of 5 side buttons on each side, for 10 total buttons you can press while moving the joysticks. I think there'll be a D-Pad (directional pad), that'll be used in some games for menus or however developers need to use them. The 4 additional buttons will be added, putting them 2 on each side of the controller near the Start and Select buttons I think they'll be a little smaller too. Then the space where the 4 traditional Triangle, Square, Circle and Cross buttons , will be filled with a touch pad or the like. That can be used for many things, like camera, or free animations. The right side joystick will then be the 4 traditional Triangle, Square, Circle and Cross buttons and I think they'll be a little smaller too, due to being where the right joystick used to be.

I think they may also take a different direction, like something super impressive. This way they can benefit from several new genera, PC players are enjoying the most. I think they may do what I said above, though there's a difference. They may do it in 3 parts, splitting the controller in half, using each side independently though also offering a mouse to replace the right or left side depending. I even considered a mouse wheel on the right half, to be a mouse replacement for a interesting new control type, for games to be played a bit differently using the wheel as a rotation method. This will also be considered for motion controls, if they don't have a separate solution for it as I am sure they will. All this boils down to the hardware and software, they are developing for system. If they really want to take it far enough, for many generations to come, I think they should go as far as they can this time. That way problems and patches to fix problems are out of the way, for the new generations after this one. All in all I think touch screen/pads will be their best option, to develop hand eye and swiping tech they need to impress people the most. Cool thing about it is they can make many rings for touch, tracking the players thumb and finger movements. How this will be used is up to developers, to use creatively for their benefit. Opening these options, is something they need to keep creative games being made and to keep players interested with their products.

I hope this help explain my expectations for a new console, as I would like to see progress made. This also mean some AAA titles may take a bit longer to develop, at least until a good toolset is made to apply to the new controller. Also i'd like to mention I think the PS5 will be backward compatible, controllers included. This mean the new controller won't be DualShock, it'll be something totally impressive, plus you can use a Dualshock you buy or already own from PS3 or 4.

I agree with Diablo, HZD, Mario RPG and Bloodborne. I suppose that mean I agree with all of them. Though the one game, I would like to see a remake/remaster of isn't on there. Final Fantasy Tactics.

This is good news. This is the game, I was going to buy a PS4 for, though it never came out. Now I am wondering about a new PS console, for it's release... Maybe they'll finally get the resources they need, to complete and release the game. I am hoping they are making the game better, than it ever was before. Until then any news about the new PS console, or is that only Xbox that releasing a new console?

Still I wish they would expand on the Switch after the fact. I am hoping the will sell a console station, turning the Switch into a Wii U at a later date. I will be getting a Switch in hopes, they come through with something more. They have the Tech to do it, just need to make it happen. Playing the Switch on a TV is mainly what I will use it for, though I would like to see, the uses of the Wii U come back. Offering a high performance system, that's compatible with the Switch as a tablet. We'll see what they invest into it, as time goes on. Good luck Nintendo, you guys have a lot of experience. We're counting on you.

here are my top 7 Absolver, Vikings - Wolves of Midgard, EITR, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Rise & Shine, Prey for the Gods and Tooth and Tail. Not sure they are all, set to release 2017 though. Still all are notable, for their art, game play and ideas. Other than those, I also keep an eye on these. ELEX, Soul Saga, Nine Parchments, HOB, Pyre, Death's Gambit and Ray's the Dead.
