The UT series is a big player in the shooter genre. The game isn't released here for another 12 days but playing the pc demo I can say that UT3 has great potential and if you like shooters you'll be playing this as much as warhawk or cod4 if not more due to extra mods and the shooter combat + vehicle combat.
The series is quite something but if you read about it conviction is trying to do something new. It's straying from it's familiar territory which is the core of the game, I for one don't think this is a move that'll help the game since the core was and always has been it's strong point. Besides the videos we've seen of MGS4 have everything you could possibly think of in a stealth action game, splinter cell was good but it won't feel as good as MGS4 so you won't be missing out on much.
I thought the developers stated it would have split-screen? That is a dissappointment. Does it look like the UT3 pc demo on high settings by chance? Anyone know the release date for europe?
