Nice. I agree since they done soooo much with this game since it released. The game has a AMAZING soundtrack which other fighters lack like SF5/ MKX. Those feel like a ghost town compared to Killer instinct lol. The music even beats to your Ultra Combo. The game runs at 90fps i believe on XB1 so its runs extremely well and looks Gorgeous!!!. One of the best exclusvies on XB1. The stages look amazing & change scenery in a third round which is damn kool.
The gameplay beats out SF5. SF5 lacks combos & have a VERY small amount of moves which is just bare bones. When i rented it i was like Uh....whre are the rest of the moves at?? lolol. I see why SF5 is dead on arrival & worst SF ever. The game never evolved & its Capcom lol. The massive failures right next to Konami. Ahhh Capcom is crying right now killing off there last decent franchise lolol. Killer instinct has so many fighting combos & u have to time your combo breaker right and learn it or you'll get crushed by a great or even good player if u dont play defense.
Glad to see many loving Killer instinct and being a amazing fighter. Killer Instinct/ MKX & DOA5 are the new kings of fighters since they're the new hits of fighters in 2016 while SF5 is old stale & run by a shit company known as Capcom. Theyre known for now as Kings of Disc Locked Content not King of fighting games anymore LOL Buh Bye Capcom
Why is this becoming a trend among the more scrubby KI fans?
I've noticed you guys can't just speak on the games merits, you have to try dragging down better fighting games in the process, namely SFV as of late. You never see this kind of talk from the core KI fans, it's always scrubs on general boards. But guys like you come off like crazed Smash fans trying to find a place at the table.
The other trend is you guys equating combos to depth or quality in a fighting game. The funny part is that historically the opposite has been true. Look at ST or 3S. They're still among the finest games in the genre today and still played competitively on a regular basis. Those games are minimal in combo length. Compare those games to their contemporaries like the old KI games or UMK3 that are loaded down with combos. Nobody takes those games seriously at all.
Every moment spent in a lengthy combo is a moment not spent in neutral or mix ups. Once you get that first hit confirm you're in auto pilot as long as your execution is on point and you don't drop a link.
Combos are one small piece of the bigger picture with fighting games. They're a way for you to maximize punishment when you find an opening, they're not meant to drive the entire experience. Games that fall into the latter are typically shallow games.

This is hilarious btw. Now you know your ABCs lol.
