@ekolite @Sevenizz @simon1812 Honestly, the only things I didn't like about Mario Kart 8 are the lack of battle arenas and the width of the tracks. Come on, Nintendo, release a DLC for Battle Mode! Battle Mode is what made me fall in love with Mario Kart on the SNES! Doing battles on regular race tracks just doesn't cut it!
(Double Dash is still one of my personal favourites. I always thought having two characters on one kart was really cool.)
Maybe it's just me, but I wish Nintendo released this game on the 3DS, which is a more suitable platform for puzzlers with bite-sized stages likes this one.
Having said that, I can't wait for my copy of the game to arrive in the mail!
Thank you BioWare, for delivering us yet another excellent RPG and an awesome conclusion to the trilogy of a great franchise! It has been a while and I miss you dearly.
I wholly enjoyed this Vita game from start to finish, much more than I imagined I would when I picked it up. If you are into anime and Japanese video games like me, you will find a lot to like about the game. On the upside, the graphics is clean, the music pleasant, the plot predictable but interesting, the characters charming, the dialog humorous, and the battle mechanics simple yet effective. In particular, two hilarious epic battles involving 48 idols will likely stay fresh in my mind for a long time. On the downside, the game suffers from several technical issues such as inconsistent frame rates and frequent loading screens (especially if you don't use fast travel), but truth be told, they did not bother me at all.
Kudos to Xseed Games for a fantastic localization effort. In fact, their translated dialog is so awesome that I had to constantly "will" myself not choose the funniest response (often the last one) in conversations. I only played the game with Japanese audio and English subtitles, so I don't know how the dub sounds.
So far I have gone through the game twice, accounting for 52 hours of total play time. On my first play through, I got the true ending for Shizuku, with a special "guest" appearance by Nana (who is too cute for words) at the end. On my second run, I got the true ending for Rin.
Anyway, if you like games specifically catered to fans of the aforementioned genres, you should definitely pick up Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed.
@ArabrockermanX @blastmaster554 There are still many empty squares after unlocking all the secret characters. Likely they will be used to host additional DLC characters. Hopefully some of them will be free. ^_-
Smash Run is currently my favourite mode of the game. It is an excellent deviation from the standard Smash formula. The fact that you don't know the type of challenge you will be dealt for the final run makes it much more exciting, especially when you are playing with other players!
Don't hold back, fellow gamers! Smash Bros plays extremely well on the handheld platform! Just make sure you play the game on a 3DS XL. The extra screen real estate makes it easier on the eyes in four-player matches! ^_-
Oh, and don't forget to customize your control so you won't execute a jump when you push up on the stick. That was really annoying for me.
Still sticking with that dated region locking policy, Nintendo? I am willing to trade a couple of the new features on the new handheld for the removal of this policy.
