First off with my little bit of play time so far I was pleasantly surprised by the game. Especially for the price.

That being said, you missed the code. The first room you enter after breaking the window and climbing in has a desk in it. You will need to be controller the girl, can't remember her name, since she can decipher puzzles or text. There is a code scratched into the desktop. You need to rub the pointer over the surface to make the code visible.

Hope this helps.

Just had a call from my local Gamestop letting me know the beta discs are in. I'm going to pick mine up over my lunch break. See you all online soon. :D

@nickjpn

How can you honestly believe that piracy does not hurt. If everyone felt the way you do, nobody would buy games. Many console games, at $60.00 a pop, only last around 10-12 hours. You pay around $10.00 to see a 2 hr. movie. Paying $4.00 an hour for entertainment is not bad.

But back to the piracy issue....

Why do you think software sales are so bad for the PSP? There are many great games, and many of the new releases are coming in $29.99, the same price as DS software. But DS software sells. The problem is that most DS users are legitimate consumers that buy software. Many people, such as yourself, that have bought the PSP did so because of emulation and the ability to download games. And these consumers are not buying software. I'm sure Sony is glad that you bought the system, but by not buying any software you are helping to deter companies from making new games for the system. I think alot of this comes with the demographic unfortunatley. The PSP is geared to the late teen and 20ish crowd, most of whom are very tech savy. And alot of this demographic have the no how to and believe it is acceptable to download content for free, whether it be music, movies, or games.

I'm just hoping alot of the new, increase PSP sales are to legitimate consumers that plan to purchase software. Only by selling software will the system continue to thrive.

If you like old school sytle dungeon crawls, then I would recommend it. You don't really get to customize your character in anyway, which I think would be a nice feature, but I like it. Everything is turn based, so you only move one space at a time. So basically when fighting enemies, you move they move, you attach they attack, etc..

For $20 bucks you could definately do worse. I bought it at full price and I'm still happy.

I'm gonna agree with what a few before me have said that price will be the most important factor. Most of the PS2 sales came once the console was below $200. If MS wants they can drop of the price of the Pro to $199.00 by next holiday season, and if sales strart to drop, this might happen sooner. Price is a big advantage MS has over Sony at this point. I can't really see the PS3 dropping to that point by next fall unless Sony feels the sales are still lagging.

I'm not saying the 360 will "win" the console wars, but I think it will be a very close race with all systems.IMO, I don't see the PS3 blowing away everyone else like many posters do.

IMO, the reason for the large discrepancy is due to the install base but not just because of the total install base. Looking at worldwide figures, we can guesstimate the 360 around 12-13 million and the PS3 at 5-6 million. But when looking at the regions, the 360 mainly sells in the US (around 8 million). The install base of the PS3 in the US is around 2 million.

That being said, if you look at the majority of EA titles they are sports games and shooter titles (Orange Box which has not been released on PS3 yet). These are the types of games that appeal to a large majority of US consumers. With the exception of Fifa, alot of owners in other countries could care less about Madden, Nascar, Tiger Woods, or NBA Live. So it only seems logical that the majority of EA sales would be on the 360.

I didn't expect there to be that much of a difference. But then again, I own 7 PS3 games, and none of them are EA titles.

I strongly urge anyone that likes FPS's or survival horror games to pick up Dementium. The graphics are very good for the DS, it controls well, and so far puzzles are pretty good too.

I just urge people to buy the game to show developers that a FPS or mature rated game can be profitable for the system. I'm starting to get tired of seeing all the animal life games, designer games, and word training games.

This game has brought me back to my DS just in time for Call of Duty 4.

The 10% doesn't seem like to much of an issue. I think if I can get the 80 Gig version with Motorstorm for $499 I probably go ahead and do that. If the game isn't included, I'll probably go for the 60 Gig.

Thanks for the input.

Since the reason price drop, I'm going to get a PS3, but I'm not sure which version. Backwards compatibility is important, and I know the 60 gig as the EE inside. My question is for anyone that has the 80 gig version, how is the software emulation for PS2 games? I guess I mainly want to know can I play GOW 1&2, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, and Devil May Cry without any problems?

Please respond quickly if possible. I will be buying the system in about 3 hrs.:D

Thanks.

I'm hoping for a little insight from others that have the Halo 3 system. When i power on the system, i get two funny sounds like a motor running andI'm not sure if it's the hard drive or the CD drive. The then while playingHalo 3, it sounds like the CD drive is scratching the disk at times (although it has not scratched the disc).Do you all think this is an early sign of a defectivedisc drive? That's what I'm thinking.
