while I don't think video games are a major factor in gun violence, I agree that parents should talk to their kids about it. seriously if they saw their kid playing a shooter while saying he/she really enjoyed killing people they'd better be concerned about how the game might be affecting their child.

it could have been anything. violent media, relationships, mental health.. I think people are searching for something to blame the shooting on because it was too horrible to comprehend and to figure out the reasons why it happened. those kids were so young and had the rest of their lives to live...
