@noirtenshin: I'm not in a position to be able to purchase a nice PC gaming machine so I game on consoles. I cannot play an FPS without my mouse controller on my systems though. First person shooters and control pad just do not work for me AT ALL. Thank the good lord (or whatever you do or do not believe in)for my Titan One peripheral and Fragfx mouse controller!

@biggamerdude: You'll probably like Shadow Warrior as well, which was also made by 3D Realms. It can be found on GOG.com as well. The same game engine was used with some enhancements.

I'm guessing this will not have that awful border on each side of the screen like the one on the last gen consoles had? I still played the game, because it's one of my favorites of all time, but I hated that border!

@biggamerdude: Wow then you're in for a treat. It's exactly like DOOM, Redneck Rampage, Blood, Dark Forces. Only Duke 3D kind of took the game play to the next level with even better weapons and maps. Get over to GOG.com and shell out probably the best 5 bucks you'll ever spend. The game's a blast.

@smokerob79: I was never a fan of the series, so I never kept up with it. The first I remember hearing about it was when it was on the GameCube.

I didn't know this franchise went all the way back to the N64.
