@joshrmeyer: Not to mention "your" instead of "you're". The only "I" on there that's capitalized is the very first one that started the "paragraph", and no apostrophes used on any contractions. PC master race... woo hoo.

There is a certain section in the gaming population that is full of jerk offs, and whiny man-babies. He pissed that section off (which is not hard to do) and really, who the hell cares? Getting your game out on other platforms is very important, and will only help the potential franchise to grow and find more of an audience. Although I will say this, these companies need to be more transparent with what systems they are developing for straight from the get go. Announcing it later is a little annoying to some people. Like someone said below, I would have hated to have dropped the cash on an Xbox One, then finding out later I could have just bought the PC version for my perfectly capable computer.

I bet it's hard being a GOOD developer for EA. You know exactly what they want you to do, you know it's going to piss a lot of the fans right the hell off, and there's really nothing you can do about it. I'm sure they probably beg, "Please let me make this, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, the fans will love it"! Then all they get from the suits is either ,"no", or "we'll put it in later, and make those suckers pay for it".

Is Mike Kennedy still attached to this? I like the guy, but the poor man does not know what he's doing.

@mikemurphy80: That's a U.K. ad, and they may have different mascots for different countries. Here in the states I don't think Duracell even has a mascot.

@LPDisturbedHU: I have noticed the blockbusters have been coming out pretty early in the past (is it passed or past?) 10 years maybe. Five months after release though? That's great I'm not complaining, I'm just remembering way back like what you and @nickpeck36 said. Used to take up to 2 years, sometimes even longer for the home versions to come out.

Almost everything about this game, makes me very excited for it. The only thing bothering me are the lack of objectives. I need progression when playing a game like this, and I don't think they've mentioned any sort of quests or anything like that. All I've heard the developer say is find materials to upgrade your ship, suit, and multitool, and get to the center of the universe, and that's about it. I'd like to know if there are NPC's in the game giving quests. Also, are there any enemies besides just animals and those robots that get hostile if you disturb the ecosystem on the planet? I'm going to take a chance on it because I LOVE space combat games (and it's about time they've come back!), those are just my concerns.

@milk: There's no way in Hades that they'd do something silly like that. VR is growing in popularity at the moment, but they know a lot of people still aren't interested or convinced that the technology is worth the (arguably) high price point.
