@muddrox: It's also a "quick review". At the end of the vid it says to stay tuned for the extended review. This might be the way they are handling evolving multiplayer games like these.
@gfantini: We'll just have to agree to disagree on this. The better funding benefitting the consumer is the way it should be, but it isn't (red ring of death). I see absolutely no value in paying for any "service" like that. Sony made it a free lunch in the first place, consumers didn't demand it. Sony stuck it behind a pay wall just because they could.
@gfantini: Networks are flawed, that crap could have happened regardless if the service was free or not. So don't give me that. Sony started charging because Microsoft got away with it. Microsoft got away with it because the casuals buying the systems just to play Halo didn't know any better.
Well, yeah they're a good partner for Disney. They made a ton of money on those 2 mediocre titles. That's really all Iger cares about. EA was giving away the first one for free so I tried it out. I didn't bother with the sequel because it had the same problems as the first one. Nothing changed. I love me some Star Wars, but I'm not supporting such half-assed attempts like those 2 games.
@groaningdood: The free demo isn't free, that's where I'm going, and already went with that. Everyone should be able to try it out whether they pay for a multiplayer service or not.
@groaningdood: The "free" demo is stuck behind a paywall. Therefore it is not exactly free at all. People that don't have Gold or Plus are SOL. It's only truly free for PC players.
