Im sure live gets attacked all of the time, but still nothing major has happened like on the ps3. Im sorry that was fking ridiculous. ps3 was running $hit&, outdated security from what I remember.
IInformation is a scarier loss than just money. That was a huge ordeal, don't downplay it. Just because the information wasn't used doesn't mean it couldn't have been.
The older models didn't have built in wifi (prolly another way to make money) but the system do come out much earlier than ps3 and still runs up to par with ps3 in just about every aspect.
you may be laughing, but less than a year ago sony lost all of its customers credit card information to hackers. I trust Microsoft more, however they are greedy bastards, but so is everyone else in the business.
I don't like to pay it. However, I continue to do so for the social aspect of live. I'v paid for it for about 6 years now. I don't like losing the money, but I like what I get for it. Ive always found matchmaking on live a much better experience. IF yall don't remember sony was hacked and lost everyones credit card info. Live at least has good security.
@GamerOuTLaWz pay for the yearly subscription its like $5. And yes, its a pain in th @$$ to meet up and play with friends on ps3. Lets face it, If we didn't want live, we wouldn't pay for it. If you don't want it don't pay for it. I used to angry about paying for live. That's why I purchased a ps3, but after that I really missed what xbl had to offer.
