Just beat it in two days on Devil Hunter Mode. Game's way too short and way too easy. I'm gonna put it up on Craigslist for $40 lol!sjsamuraii

probaly the one of the most frustrating game i have played on the xbox360.. because u keep slipping of the edge, i mean u run and press the "a" button...then u slip and fall. i mean the game is good and i like it, but sometimes it just gets so frustrating and it only has like 1 to 2 checkpoints in one level. can anyone help me how not to die alot? plz

chicken_slasher

The original was just as frustrating. Its requires trial and error, patience, and memorization. Other than playing the game over and over and taking ur time while attempting to beat it w/ in the time limit there isnt much of a trick for beating it. I suggest not worrying about the time limit til you get most of the lvls down then trying to beat it before the time runs out.

My opinion is that it COULD'VE been a great game. But poor gameplay, bad control, mediocre graphics, constant swearing and some glitches bring it way down.

Your opinions?

Coop multi would have made a world of difference for me. I enjoyed the game any ways.

I'm thinking of getting this game this weekend, or maybe during the week.

What're your thoughts on it? And if possible, post a link that has some REALLY good gameplay so I can see what it'll kinda be like on down the road when I'm playing it.

Thanks. :]

We are all hoping for a panacea for the failures of the 360. I dont think the Falcons will be the answer. Its many facotrs that contribute to the RRoD.

New news (maybe not new news for you) from today and yesterday copied directly from www.gta.net.com/news:

News : Index

Saturday, February 09, 2008 New Previews from PSM3 and Games Master
Posted by adamcs at 01:19. Site: GTA4.net. Category: Previews

PSM3
PSM3 Magazine

The latest issue of UK magazine PSM3 features a massive twelve-page exclusive preview of Grand Theft Auto IV. The preview contains four new screenshots which have never been seen before, and new character illustrations of Little Jacob and Vlad. It also contains a fullsize version of this screenshot, which was only partially revealed to us last year. Thanks to Buubar (from the forums) for the info.

There is also a similar preview with similar media assets in the newest issue of Games Master. Both previews appear to be based on the same demonstration. Go to GTAForums for more information. Here is a short summary of the new info from both previews:

  • The preview was based on the PlayStation 3 version of the game. This is the first time (as far as we are aware) that the PS3 version has been previewed by the gaming press.
  • The faster you tap X, the faster Niko runs. He doesn't appear to get tired.
  • Major collisions on motorbikes cause the helmet to fall off. You can see it fall onto the ground.
  • Heavy fire will scar - and permanently destroy - parts of the environment.
  • They previewed a mission called "To Live and Die in Alderney," which is the second part of "Truck Hustle." The second mission is called "Jamaican Heat," and acts as a tutorial for the new cover/targeting system. The third mission is called "Jacob's Ladder," and the fourth (and final) mission is called "Harbouring a Grudge." This mission introduces an Irish character called Patrick McReary, who is related to Francis.
  • The mobile phone can be used to call the police, the paramedics, and the fire department.
  • There are 18 radio stations in GTA IV - one of which is Russian. All of these stations can be accessed via the mobile phone.
  • You can take photos with the mobile phone and upload them to the police computer.
  • Health is represented by a green semi-circle on the left side of the radar, and a right semi-circle represents armour. You can restore health by resting, by using medical kits, and by eating.
  • In taxis, you can ask the driver to change the radio station by pressing D-pad left or right.
  • The GTA 4 equivalent of the Lincoln Tunnel is known as the Booth Tunnel.

Liberty Swingers Contest
Posted by Andy at 00:48. Site: GTA4.net. Category: General

Who doesn't love a good Grand Theft Auto swag giveaway?

Rockstar has recently launched a new contest (open to US residents only, unfortunately) to go along with the unveiling of the official Grand Theft Auto IV website. Up for grabs is one of fifty (50!) limited-edition Liberty City Swingers t-shirts.

To give you a rough approximation of what the shirts look like, I sucked in my gut and snapped a photo of moi sporting the shirt that came with some of the latest Hidden Package mailers:

Official GTA4 Website Launch!
Posted by adamcs at 17:03. Site: GTA4.net. Category: General

Rockstar Games have launched the official Grand Theft Auto IV website. The site contains new screenshots, videos, and info on the game, as well as a map of Liberty City. The site takes the form of a tourist guide, and is split into the following sections: People and Places, Recreation and Entertainment, and Goods and Services. Multiplayer and soundtrack info is "coming soon" according to the site.

Liberty City Map
A rather vague map of Liberty City. Hmm... it looks suspiciously similar to the map discovered by Bluespot.

What do you make of the new site? Discuss your thoughts at the forums.

What a geek the guy in the shirt.^ To see more info if you missed any, go to that site. That site is probably the quickest updated and most relyable too.

Ive bought every one of them and never beat one of them. I get so bored of them so fast. Unless this game has AAA multi player galore I will not be making the purchase.
