There was a gun fight outside my elementary school when I was in kindergarden.I had to stay in my class up until 5pm.

Charge it or add new batteries...My controller had the same problem and it would turn off for no reason.And it didn't flash or anything telling me I had a low battery.

And one game I really recommend is Viva Pinata...It keeps you playing for a long time and it cost a bit less than most games...It looks childish but it is awsome.
