What religion does this "church" follow?BranKetra
Why should it matter? Christianity, Islam, Judaism. Pick one.

A church shouldn't be forced to support something that goes against their beliefs. I have no problem with gay marriage, but churches shouldn't be forced to be a part of it.UT_Wrestler
Should churches be allowed to discriminate against black couples if marrying them goes against their beliefs?

[QUOTE="Crunchy_Nuts"]

[QUOTE="blaze_adeel"]

SO u believe that the whole universe is working on its own and nothing is controlling it ???do u really think that universe created itself???

i truely feel sorry for you

blaze_adeel

Why, because I believe that unicorns are more likely to exist than a supreme being that transcends us all?

so u think that the universe made itself and it running on its own???and a *tyrant* lol i think u never touched any history book ,i can see now why u left the religion of ISLAM u r a damn fool boy

Funny how all the damn fools seem to systematically score higher on IQ tests, and to be more educated and have far more enlightened views towards woman, Jews, gays, and atheists. Odd, that.

[QUOTE="battlefront23"] I think the same of nothing being the cause of everything. Or the universe always existing or w/e. But it's funny because while I'm technically 'religious', I really dislike religion and what it does to people.

The difficulty people have with ideas of the universe always existing is quite interesting - physically, time is just another dimension, so there is no real reason why a universe infinite in time would be any more inconcievable than a universe infinite in space; yet for some reason, it's universally found to be a much less believable concept.

[QUOTE="Lonelynight"][QUOTE="JoeRatz16"]I imagine that once it seeps from one into the other than it can seep back into the other. But if I'm correct things like the Sexual Revolution, Moral Relativism and the Gay Rights movements emerged in secular society and their effects seeped into the Church setting the stage for the abuse issuewhipassmt

I fail to see how those things cause priest to start abusing children.

Well in regard to the gay movement, gay priests began to become more activist about it and tried to shuffle more gays into the seminaries (kinda like an affirmative action for gays I guess), more gays in the priesthood probably led to more abuse since 60% of the abuse was of a homosexual (i.e. committed against males between the ages of 14 and 17) nature.

So you have a Pope heading an organisation that has systematically allowed paedophiles to get away with child molestation just to save face and thereby aided and abetted the systematic sexual abuse of children, and you have the arrogance to lay the blame at the feet of gay rights movement? I would be impressed by your intellectual gymnastics if I weren't so disappointed. What a crappy, fatuous thing to say.
