hey i had problems with my 360 overheating because it was from like 2 months after launch. i had to have repairs and it wasn't fun but anyways, my ps3 is in a cabinet under my tv and sometimes when i play it i hear the fan kick up a noch and it scares me it could go the way of my 360. does anyone have anyexperiances with what this means?DWolford32
It means your system is taking the heat and pushing it out with increased fan velocity.
It means your other system is taking the heat, absorbing it, and using it to warp the innards.
I already own a Xbox 360 but I was wondering if the PS3 is worth getting. I have come accross some money and wanted to know if this is a good investment. I know all you guys in this thread own one, but does it have a good library of games so far that you guys enjoy??? I know if I get one right now I will get Tekken DR but please give me some opinions and suggestions. Thanks BlackDiamond81
Yes. You may soon find your new system providing you with more joy than your old one.
Return it to the store and get a new one. I wouldn't be killing myself trying to get it to work if you've already exhausted all your options. Just take it back. blackace
That's the kind of sound advice you should apply to all items that are freshly opened and defective. Let the store that gave it to you deal with it.
and why do the ps3 owners care if the other version was canceled? did you guys not read the sticky at the top of the board that says not to mention the 360 unless you'll get modded?tgschmidt
A nice rule in theory.
If they were to actually enforce it though, 50% of the board would be in some form of trouble.
Mods would have difficulty fitting in bathroom breaks, eating, sleeping, or any of those other vital activities of daily living...
Oh, clearly HE is the fanboy... how silly of me i thought the one insulting the ps3 without any hard evidence to back up his post was the fanboy...The_Exculpator
The no games, crappy port...hyped up games turned out to be failure ditch. I think that's what He's referring to.
I'd be more concerned about the "system-dead-in-3-weeks-send-in-for-repair-cost-company-billions" ditch. It's a loooooooooooong climb out of that one.
Yea but I love having a free3 year warranty, good games with a huge developer support behind it! I own a PS3 and 360 by-the-way...so don't mistaken me for not talking about what I know.
What do you think of it?i've just been on the MGS4 news and loads of people have been saying its gonna come to the Xbox 360 after a year which sucks, what do you reckon?Game_Lover500
Why does it suck?
Our version came out first, our version won't get scratched by our console, our version will still run in our console 6 months later, and our version fits on one BluRay disc as opposed to 5 DVDs.
