Didn't quite fit into other topics already up:

I'm having a problem rating Torchlight. I also "had" a problem with adding Torchlight to my collection, but I found a way around that (moved from wishlist to collection - hitting "add to collection" was not linked)

As is visible from my linked Raptr account and subsequent Steam Achievements earned, I "have" played the game, and thus I figure I should be able to rate it by now. It "has" been release, I "am" in Australia, but I bought it off Steam and it's all working as it should.

So yes, I would like to be able to rate the game now please. If it's not working for other people too, then the "Add to Collection" button needs fixing as well. Thanks.

This is just an idea, and I'm looking to see what others think.

How about go back over some of the older or more popular games we've had previously for Game Night? Maybe even making the emblems that have been used for said games to be obtainable again, if only briefly? If anything, it would attract the emblem fanatics to Game Night, and some of those games are still quite popular. Plus, not everyone has the newest systems (although that number increases to grow, I still have my PS2, among others), so PS2 owners and other people that have older games or systems may bolster the Game Night numbers considerably.

It's just a thought.

I'd have to wait and see what comes up. Personally, I'm against emblems that look too cheesy - I like professional, cool-looking emblems in my profile. If you choose the wrong emblem as your final design, you run the risk of having it backfire because no one will want the emblem that goes with it.

In the end, I don't have any friends I can bring to Game Night. The advertising I can do - I'd like to think what I design looks good. But if the emblem looks too outrageous count me out.

Sounds like it's sorted. Born's for bringing a friend, Jerell's for being a walking signpost.

+1 for Jerell's here.

I have only played once for Game Night and that was L4D. I don't have a PS3 yet (despite owning some games), don't have an Xbox and my range of PC games are mostly single player. It's something I check, but there are very few games that interest me.

And I agree about the emblem - I think too many will just try to get the emblem then abandon what it sets out to achieve once they get it. Perhaps make it so they have to be part of the union, and have played a game night too, or something. And maybe make the reqs hidden? Just a thought.

@Caddy06_88: That's what I thought! Which is why I'm so happy to see so many people shoot straight past the top 500 emblem!

A warm thanks to the GS staff for deciding to give ChristianKiss an emblem. Although I am a bit confused - I thought top 500 would be more prolific than top 100, as I assumed top 100 (being a lesser number) would be the better goal to aim for, and indicate a member was better than a top 500 member. Regardless, I'm glad ChristianKiss has the top 100 one. I hope I can meet your standards one of these days, and at least get one of the emblems.

My cue to try harder.

I'd like to recommend LGTX for either of the top 100 or top 500 written reviewer emblems. I found them in-depth, accurate, and full of all the important information I come to expect from a great review. In many instances I believed them to be better than mine, describing details in ways I have yet to master. Just hope I can squeeze this post in before they're handed out.

Yeah, the L4D game night was only this year too, so it was pretty recent. Although survival would make a great game night, there must be something different we can play.
