A cousin of mine lives in Mexico, and her baby boy is going to be born in less than two weeks! :)  Me and a cousin are going to turn him into a hardcore gamer like us.  I'll take pictures and post them, I'm going there in July.

It seems Nintendo has decided to stick to Wii and DS for a while.  Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata said he will have a second thought on using Nintendo/s resources to produce a new iteration for the Game Boy series.  I'm a DS fan, hardcore to the max fan, but I didn't see this coming so soon.  It seems the DS won the battle, and the war.

So what's next with Nintendo in respect to portables?  In my opinion, I think they are already working on the next true version of the DS, not just a redesign, but something cool and crazy, like....um.....built-in gyroscopic control a la WarioWare Twisted, built-in rumble, maybe built-in Wi-Fi adapter, a camera [for game purposes only, not for multimedia PSP-like stuff], and other stuff.  I think they'll keep the touch screen and the top screen as well, but they'll likely add something else as innovative as these two were with the first DS, something like....a joystick, maybe?  Any ideas?

Wow, so many new and surprising games announced already!  Yoshi's Island 2, Star Fox DS, Wii Sports, DK King of Swing 2, Super Paper Mario....man!  I better start saving for reals!

Before, I respected Sony and only thought of them as the main competitor against Nintendo.  Now, I hate them with all my heart and I wish I could sue them or at least talk it out with whoever is responsible for the obvious rip-off of the Nintendo Wii controller [a.k.a. Wiimote].  The PS3's controller features 3-D movement sensing built in, with no external sensors needed; that means that you can move the controller up, down, left, right, front, and back, but no pointing or distance recognition, something the Wii has.  So the Wii controller is better, but it is certainly obvious that Sony tried [and seemingly failed] to copy another of Nintendo's innovative successes.  Sony, I now officially hate you and will do everything possible to get you out of the gaming business, whatever means necessary.  Thanks for ruining my special week, you bastards [Sony, not you, my beloved blog readers....and mods]

I've decided to stop playing Brain Age for the DS.  It's becoming some form of a daily chore, not something to enjoy.  I paid $20 for it and played it daily for 20 days; I'm through.  My brain age, overall, is 25; I'm 19.  I actually feel relieved for some reason, not having to 'play' it again.

Ok, so a few of you read my last blog post and thought "WTH?"  So I'll explain to you the concept of a Sandwich.

I have a supercool best friend, username = pcebdan.  He lives in CA, where I'm moving very soon.  I was born on April 4 and he was born on June 4, so we decided to share presents the day between the two dates; the Sandwich Day, May 4.

That's why my Sandwich had DS games and a GBA SP on it!  I sent him a bunch of cool DS games too, a cool t-shirt, and a raccoon!

I just ate a big, tasty sandwich.  Believe it or not, this sandwich had some crazy stuff in it; it had some DS games, some Nintendo figurines and collectibles, even a GBA SP!  It was top-notch quality.  In fact, GameSpot gave it a 9.7!  Thank you, whoever sent me this culinary delicacy!

I finally cleaned my room; it's been ten, TEN, 10 months without cleaning, but not anymore!  Man, it's taking a long time, but it's being done.
